Overview
On this one-day tour form Kathmandy, you'll visit the hidden Buddhist monastery of Nagi Gompa!
You'll use local transport to reach the site where you'll begin your hike to the hidden monastery. You'll spend some time getting to know the monks of the monastery, asking questions and praying with them if you wish. You'll then continue your hike through the forest and past local villages.
You'll enjoy the stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley and learn about the interesting legends and history that surrounds these areas.

Itinerary
Day 1
Forest, Hikes & Hidden Monasteries
Hide details 
You'll meet your guide at your guesthouse in the morning and walk to the nearest taxi station to jump in a taxi to Buddanilkantha. You'll take a very enjoyable 2.5-hour walk through farmland and national park until you reach the hidden Buddhist monastery, Nagi Gompa. Later, you will walk down the hill through woodland to Kopan and grab a taxi back to Kathmandu.
