Cape Breton Island plays host to some of the world's golf courses that truly pay respects to the true spirit of the game.
Golf and unique Celtic music are paired together with places like Inverness and Ben Eoin to make you feel like you are in the homeland of golf without crossing the ocean. Adding single malt whisky it can truly feel as if you were in Scotland.
Cape Breton Island is said to have a replica of the Scottish Highlands, and that is certainly true since thousands of Scots emigrated to 'New Scotland' (Nova Scotia) and brought with them their music and traditions and a true love of golf.
Your tour of this beautiful island will include experiencing the history, beautiful scenery and golfing in Cape Breton paired perfectly with prestigious accommodations and wonderful food. This continues as we leave our first golf destination in Ingonish to drive to Inverness where you'll find the Cabot Trail, undoubtedly one of the most scenic drives in the world.
Keep your cameras close and get ready to make this your top golf destination in the world.

Starting on the eastern shores we will spend the majority of our time in the north the island visiting some areas off the main road to discover its most beautiful, secluded locations. The top of the island features unique fishing communities joined by the Cabot Trail in the early 20th century. Since that time, tourists from around the world have been basking in its beauty.
The Cabot Trail adventure features hiking, beautiful scenery, and fabulous food. In this tour, you are part of the experience, seeing, hearing, smelling, and tasting all that is the Cabot Trail, one of the world's most scenic drives.
If you are more adventurous, hiking the Cabot Trail will be for you, with 46 hiking trails to choose from, I have selected a few that are remarkable and will make your heart soar. The present-day Louisbourg is a vital coastal community who are ready to welcome you to this charming historic town. Louisbourg awaits! From the freshest Atlantic seafood to inspiring seaside hikes – Louisbourg has something for everyone to enjoy.
In the 18th century, Louisbourg was a fortified town and an important strategic capital in the French colony of Île Royale (Cape Breton Island). It was the scene of two major military sieges in the Anglo-French wars for supremacy in North America. The fall of Louisbourg to the British in 1758 paved the way for the capture of Québec and the end of French rule in North America. Today, the Fortress of Louisbourg is a national historic site and the city is a popular destination in Cape Breton.
An authentic 18th-century experience, to visit Louisbourg is to travel back in time. The scenery, hiking, dining and jokes, all complete the experience while learning about life for the French in 1744 and discovering present-day life in Louisbourg.
