Scenic Drive from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Today, you'll travel from Kandy to the little town of Nuwara Eliya, stopping at various sights of interest on the way. En route, mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations will fill your day. Known as the Little England of Sri Lanka, Nuwara Eliya is a mountain station at 1,868 metres altitude, set in a splendid landscape. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the Island but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night.
