6-day Fabulous Mekong And Saigon

You will start the day with a 2-hour transfer to Long Xuyen after breakfast to the stork sanctuary. After a visit to a stork sanctuary, we hop on bikes and pedal on narrow lanes through a bustling morning market along the banks of the very busy river. You’ll absorb sights of endless cottage industries, timber merchants, coconut shredders, and small boats loading/unloading rice. Once we meet up with the main highway, we will transfer by van to Can Tho.

After early breakfast more adventure awaits! The excursion will be divided into two parts: The morning on water and the afternoon on land. We will take a boat to head towards the famous Cai Rang floating market, the most economically and culturally significant one in the region.
After the market and an hour transfer to Tra Vinh province, we are back on our bikes. Here the atmosphere is calm and peaceful as you head along narrow and pretty roads. There’s plenty to see, including the magnificent lotus flowers at Ba Om Pond. The route also takes in the contrasting architectural styles of ethnic Khmer homes and Khmer temples, as well as fascinating river scenes from countless wooden bridges.

Morning after breakfast we will take a boat trip around Ben Tre River. Enjoying sightseeing local activities on the river. Stop to see how people make bricks, salts, and coconut workshops. Boat on Cai Son and Nhon Thanh creeks to see some family making mats. Take cycling past rice fields and vegetable plains to learn about the culture in the country. Afternoon we kept cycling towards My Tho for 25-30 km before catching a bus for the highway journey to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon, time free. Dinner and Overnight in Saigon.
