Overview

Sri Lanka has a recorded history that spans back 3000 years. Like its massive neighbour India, Sri Lanka is a diverse country, home to many religions, ethnicity and languages.

On this week-long luxury Sri Lanka package, you'll be shown two different cultural aspects of the country that are hundreds and thousands of years old. You'll start in the old capitals of Sigiriya and Anuradhapura where expert guides will take you in the footsteps of Sri Lankan history before you make your way into the tea country in Nuwara Eliya.

After hopping on the train journey of a lifetime, you'll find yourself in Hatton, part of Nuwara Eliya, known as Little England as, during the times of British colonialism, this area became littered with the mansions of the tea factory owners. Still a tea capital of the world, you'll learn a little about tea production to finish off your trip.
