Welcome to Peru!

Upon arrival at Lima Airport to begin your Peru vacation, you will take the shuttle service Lima Airport to the Holiday Inn Hotel, Lima Airport which takes around ten minutes. Conveniently located right next to the airport, this hotel is a great place to rest and recuperate before your flight to Cusco in the morning.

Day 2
Flight Lima to Cusco - Free Afternoon to Acclimate in Cusco

This morning, you'll take a flight from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be met by your private vehicle and representative and taken to your Cusco hotel. Cusco has an altitude of 11,150 feet (3,400 metres) and so you'll have time to relax and acclimate to the rarefied air of this beautiful colonial city. There is an option to visit the Rooftop Kitchen for a local market visit and an amazing journey into Peruvian food. Cicciolina Restaurant is an excellent choice for dinner.

Expedition Train to Machu Picchu & Private Tour of Machu Picchu

This morning, you'll take a private transfer to Poroy Station. You'll then catch the Expedition Train Poroy to Machu Picchu. At the other end, a shuttle bus will take you to Machu Picchu citadel. Here, you'll head out on a 2.5-hour privately guided tour of UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll visit the Caretakers Hut, Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, Three Windowed Temple, Intihuatana, and the quarry. You'll then take the shuttle bus to Aguas Calientes village and have dinner at your hotel.

Train from Machu Picchu to Ollantaytambo, Transfer to Cusco & Flight to Lima

This morning you'll catch the Expedition Train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. You'll then be met and take a private transfer to Cusco. It is recommended that you have lunch at Organika Restaurant. Afterwards, you'll collect your luggage and take a private transfer to Cusco airport with check-in assistance. You'll then catch your flight from Cusco to Lima ahead of your international departure from Lima. This is the end of your magnificent adventure in the mystical land of Peru!
