Overview
Mozambique is known for its wonderful ocean life and time-warped old Portuguese cities, as well as having some of Africa's most stunning beaches. During this trip, you will discover the cultural side of Mozambique and its capital Maputo.
Maputo is the vibrant, chaotic city of Mozambique, sprawling along the northern banks of the dazzling Maputo Bay. Art Deco architecture coexists with colonial-era Portuguese residences. Although not all of them are well-kept, and there are a few holes here and there, the overall feeling is of a major metropolis. Terrific restaurants, busy nightlife, and superb hotels are all available.
Just few days in Maputo, a busy, appealing African city that is more welcoming than intimidating, is a rewarding alternative for the adventurous.

Day 1
Maputo City Tour and Travel to Beline

Upon your arrival, you will head off on a city tour of Maputo. Maputo is the place to visit if you enjoy history and wish to view restored Portuguese neoclassical buildings. The city's long history can be traced back to the 1500s when it was merely a fishing community. It evolved into a Portuguese colony as well as a vital port city over the ages following its founding by the explorer Lourenço Marques. It became the capital of Mozambique after the country gained independence. You will take in some of the top attractions before settling into your hotel for the night.

Day 2
Free Day Trip to Ponta de Ouro

Spend the day at your leisure. If you like, a day trip to Ponta De Ouro can be arranged. Ponta do Ouro, which translates to 'Golden Tip (or Point),' is a beach resort town located in the northern part of the South African frontier. This 85-kilometre stretch of sand is one of Mozambique's most clean and attractive. And the village of 'Ponta,' as it is lovingly called, is the most accessible and accessible entry point into this tropical paradise.

Mafalala Cultural Tour

After breakfast, head off on a cultural tour around the streets of Mafalala, the capital's most famous neighbourhood, which is one of Maputo's oldest. Maputo's character is waiting to be discovered. During the trip, you will learn about the history of Mozambique, as well as the great food, community life, and Mafalala literature.
