Overview
This hiking tour in one of the most remote parts of Sapa is a great mix of cultural and adventure experiences. Sapa is the most well-known trekking destination in Vietnam. It is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature. During your trek, you will explore landscape formations of hills, villages and rivers.
While exploring these areas, you will get to meet some of the ethnic minority groups that live in the mountains. These tribes are fascinating and each is notably different from the next. You will also experience serenity staying in a comfortable riverside lodge in a remote village.

Itinerary
Day 1
Travel from busy Hanoi to peaceful Nam Cang

You will travel from Hanoi to Nam Cang, which is in one of the most remote areas of Sapa. You will admire Vietnam’s most iconic scenery, the sparkling rice terraces, before learning about the intriguing customs and culture of the Red Dzao ethnic minority. In the afternoon, you will also go on a guided walking tour of the village, where you will meet and learn from the local villagers.

Day 2
Hiking Day to Surrounding Ethnic Minority Villages

You will start the day with a trek to the two minority villages. The first will be the small Blue H’mong village where you will meet local people and learn about their customs. You could compare the similarities and differences of local tribes in the Red Dao Village of Nam Nhiu, which are one of the 54 ethnic groups that are officially recognised in Vietnam. In the afternoon, there will be a scenic walk through the rice terraces organised, together with a picnic lunch.

Day 3
Jungle Walk and Return to Hanoi

After breakfast, you will head out on a beautiful walk through the jungle. The trees, herbs and bamboo make for stunning surroundings as you wander along. At the river's edge, you will stop for a BBQ lunch before making your way back. Once you have checked out of the accommodation, you will be transferred back to Hanoi.
