Starting from the eternal city of Rome, you will be taken on a wonderful 24-day adventure through seven destinations in Italy, namely Florence, Siena, Cinque Terre, Bellagio in Lake Como, Milan and to finish, the 'floating city' of Venice.

Over the course of this 3-hour tour, you'll visit the Egyptian obelisk in Piazza del Popolo, then head into the Vatican Museums taking the beautiful Spiral staircase, the Gallery of the Tapestries, the Gallery of the Geographical Maps and the famous Sistine Chapel with its magnificent fresco by Michelangelo. Today, you'll explore the wonders of Imperial Rome. Beginning at Piazza Venezia, you'll then head to the famous Piazza Del Campidoglio, designed by Michelangelo, where you'll have a fantastic view of the Roman Forum. You will then head to the Circus Maximus, one of the largest sporting arenas ever built but of course, you'll save the best til last, the Colosseum, an incredible Roman stone amphitheatre built in the 1st century.

Today, you'll discover the Lost City of Pompeii, which dates back over 2,000 years, the earliest available traces recorded being 7th-6th century BC. During the 1st century, Mount Vesuvius erupted ending the inhabitation of Pompeii and burying it under 30 feet of ash, only to be discovered in the 18th century. After lunch, you will admire the city of Naples on a two-hour city sightseeing tour before returning to Rome.

In the morning, you'll visit St Clement's Basilica, a unique insight into the archaeological timeline from Ancient Rome to the beginning of the Middle Ages. You'll then head to the Roman Houses in Celian Hill, where the wealthy lived during the 2nd to 4th centuries. After lunch in a typical roman "trattoria", you'll visit the Basilica of the Sacconi Rossi to learn about the group of people responsible for caring for the unclaimed bodies founded in the River Tiber during the 17th century.
