Today, you'll start your Vietnam Adventure Tour in the heart of the capital and embark on a Vespa trip through Hanoi. You'll visit the ancient city of Co Loa, stop at a local farm, enjoy a snack with a local family and more! In the afternoon, you'll explore the cultural and historical highlights - Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter and a water puppet show. This becomes a uniquely Vietnamese artistic endeavour. Hanoi is the best place to see these performances.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ninh Binh. You'll stop by Hoa Lu, known to travellers as Vietnam's 'inland Halong Bay.' After visiting two temples in commemoration of King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh in the ancient capital, you'll enjoy a sampan cruise on a creek crossing three large rice fields, divided by three magnificent grottoes with huge stalactites, then move onwards to the Bich Dong cave pagodas on the limestone mountainside dating from the 17th century.

Today, you'll transfer back to Hanoi and enjoy half the day at your leisure. You'll have plenty of free time to explore parts of the city that you possibly haven't been able to yet before your driver transfers you to the railway station to board the night train to Lao Cai. You'll then travel overnight to Sapa, in Northern Vietnam.

Today, you'll arrive in Lao Cai and transfer to the hotel for breakfast and refreshments. You'll then start the three-day, night-night trek to local villages with overnight homestays. Your local guide will take you to Sin Chai village of the Black Hmong minority. You'll trek up the mountain and then gradually descend to Cat Cat village. In the afternoon, you'll take different trails, enjoy spectacular scenery and eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village, where you can rest.

Today’s trek will continue along the Hoang Lien mountain range, which offers you many opportunities to enjoy the view over huge rice paddy terraces in Muong Hoa Valley, the largest one in the area. After having lunch at a nice viewpoint, you'll descend into the bottom of the valley. You will pass through local villages by following a very popular trekking route. At the end of the day, you will spend the night in a traditional house of the Giay minority.

Today, you'll leave for Giang Ta Chai village where you can take a rest nearby a waterfall. You'll continue through a bamboo forest; when you have passed the forest, you'll have lunch in a nice spot. After lunch, the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai. After taking a rest, you'll continue on a small trail towards Supan where your transfer back to Sapa is waiting. You'll be able to use the hotel in Sapa until your transfer to the station for the night train back to Hanoi.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you'll transfer to the hotel for early check-in with breakfast and refreshments. The rest of the day will then be free to spend as you wish. After your long journey and days of trekking, you may wish to simply relax and enjoy your hotel's facilities or perhaps you'd like to go out and explore Hanoi a little more.

You will be picked up by shuttle bus arranged by the cruise for your three-day tour to Lan Ha Bay. On the way to Cat Ba Island, you'll enjoy driving on the longest sea-crossing bridge in Vietnam. You'll take the ferry to the island and explore the national park and Gia Luan dock. You'll then board the cruise at midday and marvel at the sites all around you. Later, you'll arrive in Lan Ha and enjoy a kayaking and snorkelling excursion. You'll end your day with a cooking class and dinner.

Today, you'll wake up among the smooth waves and enjoy breakfast. A local motorised boat will take you through Lan Ha Bay, then a car will drive you to the park to go trekking. It is a moderate trek into the park up to Ngu Lam Peak. At the summit, you'll enjoy the view of Cat Ba Island, Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. You'll trek down, visit the hospital cave and have lunch. On the ride back up to the mountain, you'll visit Cannon Fort then board a boat back to the cruise.

This morning, a light breakfast will be served to energize you for the morning activities. You'll then take a tender ship to Cat Ba Island and Viet Hai dock for a bicycle trip to Viet Hai village. You'll enjoy the landscape and get to know the locals before cycling back and returning to the cruise where you can swim or relax. At midday, you'll arrive back at Gia Luan dock and drive back to Hanoi where you'll end the day at your accommodation.

You'll enjoy some free time this morning before your transfer to Hanoi airport for your onward flight to Hue in Central Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hue, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. The rest day of the day is then free to spend as you wish. Take a stroll around town and explore the centre of Hue, get some local food and settle in to watch the world go by.

Located just 60 kilometres south of Hue, Bach Ma National Park covers an area of 22,000 hectares. Coming to visit the park, you will have the chance to discover the beautiful landscape and natural wonders, while you enjoy an adventure of the spirit. You will visit the remarkable Do Quyen waterfall which is more than 300 metres high and 20 metres wide. After lunch, you'll walk to visit Hai Vong Dai and admire the beautiful view from the top. Afterwards, you'll continue to Hoi An for the night.

Today, this combined bike and kayak tour will let you not only explore the countryside of Hoi An and meet the locals but also see the river life of the area. After a fulfilling morning exploring on the bikes, you'll enjoy lunch at a local house. Returning to the bikes, you'll cycle a little further along the riverside then board kayaks to take in the sights from water level. You will finish in a different part of Hoi An, where your transport will be waiting to bring you back to your hotel.

This morning, you will have some free time to explore Hoi An. In the afternoon, you'll transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight to the southern capital, Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon as it's also known. Upon arrival in Saigon, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel in Saigon. The rest of the day will be free to explore the city on your own.

Today, you will set off to explore Cat Tien National Park. In the afternoon on a discovery tour, you'll journey through a wide range of trees species and view local wildlife on the Botanical Garden Trails. Later on, you'll jump in a jeep for a night ride through the forest to the grassland Nui Tuong. This is a great opportunity to see the wildlife and the guide will use a spotlight to try and spot samba deer and wild boar feeding at night.

Early in the morning, you will be taken by buggy car to the starting point of the tour. A packed breakfast will be provided. This tour is a rare opportunity to see these endangered primates in their wild habitat. The length of the viewing is dependent on the gibbons and if they are not sighted on day one, there will be a second opportunity the following morning free of charge. Then, a buggy car will take you to the ferry to go by boat to Đảo Tiên, where you will visit the Gibbon Rescue Center.

This morning, you'll cycle or go by buggy car to visit the Cat Tien Bear Rescue Centre. The aim of this centre is to rescue, train and release the bears and wild cats the wild. You'll return to your lodge after exploring the rescue centre for some free time on the viewing platform over the Dong Nai River where you can do some excellent bird watching. In the afternoon, you'll journey back to Saigon for the night.

The first part of the day is free to spend as you wish exploring the city on your own. In the evening, you'll set out on a Vespa tour through Saigon. This Saigon night tour is part night excursion, part street food adventure! You'll experience Saigon’s nightlife the way locals do, all from the back of a vintage Vespa scooter. This tour includes free-flowing drinks and all the food you can eat, so come with an appetite!
