Ninh Binh, some 100 kilometres south of Hanoi, offers a world of natural wonders and cultural heritage to explore. Upon arrival, you'll set off exploring some of the sights including Hoa Lu, the capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, known to travellers as Vietnam's 'inland Halong Bay.' You'll enjoy a leisurely sampan cruise on a creek crossing three large rice fields, divided by three magnificent grottoes with huge stalactites, before visiting the Bich Dong Pagodas and heading to your hotel.

Today, you'll say goodbye to Ninh Binh after breakfast and make your way back to Hanoi. In Hanoi, you'll have the use of your hotel for the day if you'd like to sit back and relax. Alternatively, you can freshen up and head out to explore the city a little more. In the evening, you'll head tot eh train station ready to catch your sleeper train to Sapa.

Today, you'll start the three-day, two-night Sapa trekking to the local villages and overnight homestays. Your local guide will take you to Sin Chai village of Black H'mong minority, which is located right at the foot of Hoang Lien mountain range. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery all day while walking. You will stay overnight with a local family of Black H’mong in Y Linh Ho village.

Today’s trek will continue along the Hoang Lien mountains, which offers you many opportunities to enjoy the view over huge rice paddy terraces in Muong Hoa valley, the largest one in the area. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You spend the night in a traditional house of Giay minority. You will be able to take a walk to enjoy the valley view as well as swim in the river nearby.

Today’s trek is short but the landscape is beautiful. You leave for Giang Ta Chai village where you can take a rest nearby a waterfall to enjoy the surroundings. You will continue through a bamboo forest, and find a nice place to enjoy lunch. After lunch, the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village. You'll continue on to Supan where your transfer back to Sapa is waiting. Later, you'll catch the sleeper train back to Hanoi.

Upon arrival at the train station from Sapa early in the morning, your driver will meet your and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi. You'll check in early and then have the rest of the day free to explore Hanoi to relax at your hotel - the choice is yours! This day is the perfect opportunity to visit Hanoi Opera House or the famous Hanoi Train Street.

You'll be picked up at your hotel for your Cat Ba Island cruise. You'll travel through the landscapes of rice field and rural villages of the Red River Delta. You'll then take a 25-minute ferry to Cat Ba Island and travel through the national park to the point at which you'll embark on the Unicharm Cruise. For the rest of the day, you'll sail into the bay, visiting fishing villages and secluded bays, enjoy fresh meals and join a cooking class!

This morning, you'll wake up among the smooth waves. After breakfast, a local motorised boat will take you through Lan Ha bay pass by floating fishing villages of Cai Beo to Cat Ba island then a car will drive you up to the centre of the park for some trekking. You'll take a moderate trek into the park up to Ngu Lam Peak. After some more exploring of various caves, you'll head back to the boat. In the evening, you can go snorkelling, kayaking and fishing after dinner.

This morning, you'll wake once again to the sounds of the waves. After a light breakfast to fuel you up, you'll take a tender ship to Cat Ba Island, Viet Hai dock for a bicycle trip to Viet Hai village. You'll visit a local house to get to know about the local people as well as their daily life of work or visit the island school. Afterwards, you'll cycle back and then relax and enjoy brunch as you cruise back to the dock. At midday, you'll arrive at the dock and drive back to Hanoi.

This morning, you'll wake up and enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Then, you'll check out as your driver meets you and transfers you to the airport for your flight to Hue. Following a short flight to Hue in Central Vietnam, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel where you'll have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to explore Hue and relax.

Located just 60 kilometres south of Hue, Bach Ma National Park covers an area of 22,000 hectares. Home to a wide variety of animals and plants, the park is well-known for its biodiversity. You will have the chance to discover the beautiful landscape and natural wonders, while you enjoy an adventure of the spirit. You'll drive up to the top of the park to visit the remarkable Do Quyen waterfall and Hai Vong Dai to admire the beautiful view from the top. Later, you'll continue to Hoi An.

This combined bike and kayak tour will let you not only explore the countryside of Hoi An and meet the locals but also see the river life of the area. Just a short cycle through Hoi An old town and you will find yourself in the rural Hoi An where many artisans are still living the same life their ancestors would have hundreds of years ago. After a fulfilling morning of exploring, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local house. Later, you'll board kayaks to take in the sights from water level.

This morning, you'll have some free time to explore Hoi An. Then, later in the afternoon, you'll transfer to Da Nang airport for your onward flight. Upon arrival in Saigon, you will be transferred to your hotel in Saigon. You'll then have the evening free to explore this vibrant city and eat some delicious street food!

Continue your Vietnam adventure travels in Cat Tien National Park, which covers 720 km2 and protects one of the largest areas of lowland tropical rainforests left in Vietnam. You'll check into your lodge and spend the day exploring the Botanic Garden Trails which circumnavigate an area where the Chau Ma minority people once had a settlement. In the evening, a jeep car will take you through the forest to the grassland to spot civets, fishing cats, loris, pangolin, gaur and nocturnal birds.

You will be taken by a buggy car to the starting point of the tour (a packed breakfast will be provided). This is a rare opportunity to see these endangered primates in their wild habitat. Firstly, you will be taken to a listening post, to wait for the gibbons to start singing. Here, you can relax in hammocks and appreciate Cat Tien’s rich wildlife viewing opportunities. The length of the viewing is dependent on the gibbons. Later, a buggy car will take you to visit the Gibbon Rescue Centre.

This morning, you'll cycle or go by buggy car to visit the Bear Rescue Centre. The aim of this centre is to rescue, train and release the bears and wild cats the wild. You'll then return to the Forest Floor Lodge and head to the viewing platform over the Dong Nai River to look out for birds and other animals. In the afternoon, you'll travel back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Today, you'll have the day free to explore the iconic landmarks and must-see attractions of Ho Chi Minh City. In the evening, you'll head out on a part night time exploration and part food tour on the back of a vintage Vespa! You'll experience Saigon’s nightlife the way locals do. Throughout the night, try a variety of food and drinks at two local restaurants and samplings of Saigon’s best authentic street food. This tour includes free-flowing drinks and all you can eat. Come with an appetite!
