Day 1

Start in Tangier and Chefchaouen

Start in Tangier and Chefchaouen

You'll be welcomed at the port of Tangier. Then, your journey will begin by passing through the Rif to then arrive in the beautiful city of Chefchaouen, which is a Berber name meaning ”horn”, perched beneath mountains of the Rif. You'll have the afternoon to get lost in the labyrinth of rustic houses dressed in different shades of dusty blue.

Day 2

Chefchaouen to Fes

Depart after having breakfast to Fes. On the road, you will visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the best-preserved and only in Morocco. Then continue to Meknes, a modern imperial city, where you can visit the old Medina, which is surrounded by a large wall. At the end of the day, you'll arrive in Fes and head straight to your accommodation.

After breakfast in your riad, you start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its endless alleys
and small streets starting at the Royal Palace gate, and the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. Visit all of the cultural and historical sites in Fes including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest one in the world and the famous tanneries. After lunch, you will visit a local tile cooperative and a viewpoint that will show you the whole medina of Fes.

Day 4

A Full-Day Journey to Merzouga

A Full-Day Journey to Merzouga

After breakfast, you will leave Fes travelling towards Merzouga. On this journey, you’ll catch glimpses of the Mid-Atlas and High Atlas mountains and stop at Azrou and Midelt for lunch. Travel through the spectacular Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau and see how the landscape changes as we edge closer to the desert. Upon arrival in Merzouga you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, before travelling by camel through the dunes to your overnight camp.

A Day in the Desert

A Day in the Desert

The day will be divided into two parts, starting with the village of Khamlia where you'll get to meet the Gnawa people over some mint tea and listen to their music which is known across the world. Afterwards, you visit the desert lake and the city of Rissani, the most important oasis in southeast Moroccan desert where fortified villages are surrounded by palm groves. Your evening begins with a sunset ride on camels to your tent in the middle of Erg Chebbi's golden dunes.

Your guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch what will may be the best sunrise of
your life. You’ll camel-trek back to Merzouga. Enroute, appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and a hot shower in the riad, you’ll leave for the Todgha gorges. After lunch, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as Monkey Toes.

Dades Valley to Ouarzazate

Travel through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate. You will stop at Kalaat M’Gouna; the rose valley, where you can visit a cooperative to buy rosewater. Continue to the oases of a thousand Kasbahs where palm groves are interrupted by ruins of kasbahs of all shapes and sizes, beautifully surrounded by nature. When you get to Ouarzazate, you'll check into your riad and have time to explore this unique town that has become somewhat of a film set.

From Ouarzazate drive to Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified Berber earthen Kasbah built hundreds of years ago. It is the place where many movies were shot. Admire the view of caravan roads and the faraway peaks of the High Atlas mountains that you are about to cross. You will keep on driving across the Tichka pass stopping to enjoy the panoramic views. You'll arrive in Marrakesh in time for lunch and then head to Essaouira where you will spend the night in a hotel.

A guide will take you through the city, to the old fort, the harbour and to spend a little time on the Morocco beaches to see another side of Morocco before you head back to the city. In the afternoon, you'll be driven to your hotel in Marrakesh. You'll have time to explore and embrace the hustle and bustle of the city on your own.

ensure that you see the most important historical and cultural sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian tombs, and the Bahia Palace. After lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and see the hundreds of handicrafts that are for sale. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander by yourself to explore the other parts of the city.

Drive to Casablanca early morning and visit one of the most iconic buildings in the country, Hassan II Mosque. Continue on through on the coast to stop in the capital, Rabat for lunch. You'll have a little time to see some of the beautiful architecture in the city before you continue on to the peaceful, sleepy city of Asilah to rest and relax.
