Today, you'll head back to the airport on foot ahead of your flight to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival, you'll be met and taken on a road and river transfer to your beautiful lodge located deep within the heart of the Amazon. Hacienda Concepción can only be reached by taking a scenic canoe ride from the town, and once there, you'll see 25 cabanas sit majestically on stilts and a five-room casa grande with high ceilings and a rustic thatched roof are peppered around the property.

This morning, you'll visit Lake Sandoval, a glassy, ox-bow lake located inside the protected Tambopata National Reserve. You'll then board a dugout wooden canoe to quietly paddle through mangroves and glide onto Lake Sandoval, flanked by picture-perfect palms. After lunch at the lodge, you'll take a 20-minute boat ride across the Madre de Dios River to climb the exhilarating Inkaterra Canopy Walkway and navigate the Anaconda Walk. Come nightfall, you'll explore the rainforest on foot.

After breakfast, you'll discover the rainforest's tropical plants and their intriguing medicinal uses by visiting our organic bio-orchard. You'll continue to the 30-hectare Palmetum, a collection of 19 Amazonian palms in a plot reserved for rainforest restoration. After a tasty lunch, you'll enjoy a relaxing paddle in a dugout canoe on Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion’s oxbow shaped lagoon or cocoa. You can fish for piranha-like the local indigenous communities do, using a simple wooden rod.

This morning, you'll enjoy your final breakfast and morning of activities at the Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion Lodge. When you're ready, a boat will take you back to Puerto Maldonado and your driver will meet you to take you to the airport. You'll fly to Cusco and upon arrival, you'll be met once again by a car and taken to your hotel in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You'll have the rest of the evening to relax.

This morning, you'll head out on a privately guided tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First, you'll visit the highland Andean village of Misminay, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will receive a warm welcome from the locals, including some typical dances and music. After a picnic lunch, a magnificent adventure by mountain bike awaits. First, a descent to the Moray archaeological complex, and then on to the Maras Salt Pans.

Machu Picchu was revealed to the world, when the famous historian, explorer and archaeologist Hiram Bingham stumbled upon the site whilst on an expedition in 1911. Today, your expert guide will escort you on a 2.5-hour privately guided insightful and vivid tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site. The private tour includes stops at the Caretakers Hut, Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, Three Windowed Temple, Intihuatana/Solar Clock, and the quarry.

After breakfast at your hotel in the morning, you'll head to the train station for your Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, you'll take a private transfer from Ollantaytambo train station to your Cusco hotel. After checking in, you'll have the afternoon and evening to spend as you wish. Dinner at Cicciolina Restaurant is highly recommended.

This morning, you'll head out on a 3.5-hour biking tour around Cusco. During this tour, you'll take in exceptional views, be able to stop where you wish and take plenty of photographs. Throughout the tour, you'll cover the main ruins around Cusco including a visit to Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Plaza de Armas and some lesser-known Inca sites. In the afternoon, you can head to the Choco Museum, a famous museum in Cusco.
