Upon your arrival at Hanoi airport, your private driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel. After some relaxation, you will join the Hanoi street food tour. Food markets, a lively area of the city, provide a valuable glimpse into the lives of the residents. You'll find all the foods used for a Vietnamese breakfast, lunch, or dinner here, with distinct sections for fruits and vegetables and meat. You can also spend some time exploring Hanoi, a city with vibrant street life, a unique blend of old and new architecture and friendly people.

Day 2
Explore Hanoi on a City Tour

Today, you have a full-day tour to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his personal residence; the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. You'll end the morning with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature and Ngoc Son Temple near Hoan Kiem Lake. You will enjoy a one-hour cyclo sightseeing tour around Hanoi Old Quarter. Then, you'll watch a traditional water puppet show.

Make Tea With the H’Mong People

This morning, you will take a five-hour drive to the Ta Xua Commune. You'll have lunch, then follow the local H’Mong guide to Be village to harvest ancient tea. You will have a chance to climb the ancient tea trees and pick tea buds. Then, you will return to your hostel where the skilful tea makers will show you the traditional way to make tea.

Day 4
Explore Dinosaur’s Backbone Peak

After breakfast, you will drive to the famous Dinosaur’s Backbone Peak in the Ta Xua mountain range. You'll have time to explore the area, take some photos and enjoy the impressive scenery. Then, it's time to say goodbye to the H’Mong people before driving back to Ban Mai Retreat where you will stay for the night. You can relax at the hot spring at Ban Mai Retreat or leisurely explore the local villages and interact with friendly local people.

Suoi Chieu Lake Boat Ride & Back to Hanoi

After breakfast, you will take a boat ride to explore the spectacular landscape of Suoi Chieu Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in North West Vietnam. Then, you will drive back to Hanoi. On the way, you will stop to visit Duong Lam village, an ancient village in the Red River Delta where local people still preserve the hundreds-year-old wooden houses. You will have lunch in an ancient house and get to know the host. After that, you will spend some time having a tour around the village and learn more about the history of Vietnam.

As you sail out into the mystical bay, you will savour a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood on board. In the afternoon, you will enjoy some activities in the bay, or just spend some time relaxing.

Your Northern Vietnam tour package continues today. You will wake up early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck, or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise. You will enjoy a light breakfast before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowing boat. Then, you will return to the cruise ship to take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay. You will return to the pier and then drive back to Hanoi.
