Overview
You'll have six days to explore the national parks and rainforests of Sabah with an astounding variety of wildlife.
On this unique Sabah holiday, you will learn about the plight of the orangutan and the Malaysian sun bear and head out into the wild on your river safari on the Kinabatangan River.
Kota Kinabalu offers you the chance to get to know a little about the indigenous cultures of Borneo and their lifestyle. Get ready to be welcomed into their unique infrastructures and customs before enjoying a traditional meal made up of dishes that are unique to the people.

Begin Your Sabah Holiday!

Welcome to Sandakan, Sabah! Upon your arrival at Sandakan Airport, our representative will meet and transfer you to the Sepilok Forest Edge Resort. You'll have free time this afternoon to relax and recover from your journey.

Day 2
Sukau Rainforest Lodge

After breakfast at Sepilok Forest Edge Resort, you will start your journey to the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre where you can watch and feed the orangutans. Continue to the Borneo Sunbear Conservation Centre to get a closer look at the Borneo sun bear. After lunch, transfer to the Sukau Rainforest Lodge and take a late afternoon cruise on the Kinabatangan River.

Mari Mari Village

You'll spend a morning in the Mari Mari village where you'll learn about one of the oldest and largest indigenous tribes of Malaysian Borneo. During your tour, you'll see traditional homes, meet people from the tribe before enjoying some of the dishes that are only made here. You'll have the afternoon free to explore Sandakan.
