This 4 day Sri Lanka tour takes you first to the bustling city of Kandy, which is home to one of the country's most sacred relics - a tooth of Buddha. Located in the middle of Sri Lanka, Kandy is surrounded by iconic tea plantations and lush scenery.
A trip to this beautiful country would not be complete without a visit to Nuwara Eliya which is a town that was once popular with the British settlers, the numerous colonial buildings that still stand to this day are a testament to this.
Sri Lanka also has a rich Buddhist heritage, and the first known Buddhist writings were composed on this historic island.

Welcome to Sri Lanka! A private driver will collect you from the airport and take you on a scenic drive to the city of Kandy - set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and a biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for walking around. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine. In the evening you will enjoy a traditional cultural dance show.

Nuwara Eliya and Lake Gregory

Today you will take a trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens where you can see beautifully kept flowers and vegetation native to Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, visit the Ramboda Waterfall viewpoint - the cascading water is a sight to behold. Continue to Nuwara Eliya, which is a city in the central province. Its name means "city on the plain" or "city of light". Tour around Lake Gregory which is surrounded by lush scenery and a fresh mountain breeze.

The Capital City of Colombo

Today, after breakfast you will visit the highest mountain in Sri Lanka ‘Piduruthalagala Mountain’. Experience white water rafting in the picturesque Kelani River. Proceed to the beautiful port city of Colombo. Here, colonial architecture views with glass skyscrapers and the past come alive in buildings that have withstood great winds of change. Explore the city streets, enjoy the fantastic shopping options and beautiful buildings.
