Overview
Travel the length of Northern Vietnam and experience its natural, cultural and historical highlights on a 6-day tour.
On this north Vietnam holiday, you will journey from Vietnam's capital of Hanoi, a bustling city with history dating back thousands of years and where you will be guided through some of the most interesting and historical attractions in the city.
You then will then depart for the world-renowned Halong Bay, which is one of the most beautiful places on earth and will no doubt be a highlight of your trip to Vietnam. The boat cruise will be your home for the night so there will be lots of time to soak in the views and swim in the blue waters of the Bay.
Continue your trip to Ninh Binh province where you will trek the Cuc Phuong National Park, visit the Ancient Man Cave, Endangered Rescue Center and particularly the 1000-year-old tree.
Finally, participate in a hands-on cooking experience. you will learn recipes, all the secrets and tips from a seasoned local chef.

Day 1
Begin Your North Vietnam Holiday

Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be met by your guide and driver and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi's old quarter. Depending on your arrival time, you will be taken on an orientation tour of Hanoi, visiting the Dong Xuan Market, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. In the late afternoon, you can go to a traditional Water Puppet show and later explore the Old Quarter.

Hanoi City Tour

Today you will experience the culture tour of Hanoi, visiting Ba Dinh Square, where the Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam's Independence on 2nd September 1945, then Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum before continuing on to the One Pillar Pagoda, West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Temple of Literature. After lunch, you'll continue your tour to the Ethnology Museum, Hoa Lo Prison, Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

Day 3
Hanoi to Halong Bay

Today, you'll depart for Halong Bay. Lunch will be served as you cruise among the islets such as Incense, Fighting Cock, Dog, Finger and explore unspoiled pockets of Halong Bay. You will visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most imposing grottoes of the Bay. You'll choose between a swim at either Soi Sim or Ti Top beach or take a short trek to the top of Ti Tov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery. A fresh seafood dinner will be served on board in the evening.

Day 4
Halong, Ninh Binh & Cuc Phuong National Park

After breakfast, you will visit Luon Cave on small traditional bamboo boats. You will sail past rock formations; Man’s Head Islet, Tortoise Islet, Butterfly Cave, Lion Islet and Bai Tho Mountain. You'll then check out from the boat at around 10 am. Thereafter, you'll enjoy lunch as the boat weaves through strange-shaped limestone rock formations on your return to shore. On land, you will then take a private transfer to Ninh Binh which is around a 4-hour drive.

Cuc Phuong National Park to Hanoi

After breakfast, you will visit the 300-metre-long Ancient Human Cave, the 45-metre-high, 1000-year-old tree as well as the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, all highlights of any visit to Ninh Binh. Thereafter, you will be driven back to Hanoi for your overnight stay and to enjoy the final night of your trip. Upon arrival, the rest of the afternoon and evening will be free for you to spend however you wish.
