This morning, you'll head to the airport to travel from Lima to Puno by plane. On the way from Juliaca airport to your hotel, you'll make a stop to visit the Archaeological Complex of Sillustani. Fringing the shore of Peru’s Lake Titicaca, Sillustani is a pre-Incan cemetery full of huge tombs and fascinating ruins. Said to once have been a cylindrical necropolis, Sillustani is home to above-ground tombs built in tower-like structures known as chullpas. They were vestiges of the Qulla people.

Today, you'll wake up early, skip the crowds and discover hidden marvels of Lake Titicaca with this authentic cultural experience. Over the course of the day, you'll explore a secluded section of Taquile Island, experience the preparation of "Pachamanca" and visit Uros floating islands. You'll arrive early in Cusco, the city set at an altitude of 3,400 metres in the Peruvian Andes, once the capital of the Inca Empire. You'll have the rest of the day to explore. It is known for its Spanish colonial architecture and Incan remains. Narrow, cobble-stoned streets lined by Inca walls stretch out from the main plaza in every direction. Many of the colonial buildings were built on top of Incan foundations and the stonework is unparalleled in its precision and beauty

Today, you'll explore Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire, on a half-day tour where you'll visit the Cusco Cathedral, the Koricancha Temple and surrounding archaeological sites. From here, you'll head to the archaeological remains located around the city, including the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo the giant rock, the ancient site of Puca Pucara and finally the Water Temple of Tambomachay.

Today, you'll be collected from your hotel in the morning for a full day of exploring the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This fertile river valley is home to numerous archaeological centres and Andean villages. You'll visit the Pisac Ruins and the village where you'll have a delicious lunch. Today, you'll explore one of the new Seven Wonders of the World in a half-day Machu Picchu trip. You will be astonished at your first view of Machu Picchu, a stunning display of ancient architecture with incredible surroundings. You'll then enjoy a guided tour of the ruins and monuments such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Cemeteries.
