Moving on, you'll fly to Iguazu Falls to discover this stunning waterfall before jetting off to your last destination, Salvador, to immerse yourself in the local culture.

Located by the Atlantic Ocean, golden beaches adorn Rio de Janeiro's shores backed with lush mountains. You'll visit iconic landmarks like Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain, sail around Guanabara Bay, and learn about history and art at one of the city’s many museums. You'll be collected from the airport upon arrival and taken to your hotel in an exclusive vehicle with an English-speaking guide.

This morning, you'll drive to Rio's downtown area, appreciating the city’s landmarks and some of its finest architecture on the way. From the Urca neighbourhood, you'll take two glass cable cars and appreciate the beautiful lush views surrounding the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain. From the top, you can see the spectacular views of Rio de Janeiro. Then, you'll drive through the Tijuca forest up the Corcovado Mountain where you can admire the well-known Christ the Redeemer statue.

Today, you'll have the option to spend your day in a multitude of ways. The first is to take a tour to the royal city of Petrópolis where you can admire the Imperial Museum, the cathedral and the Crystal Palace. Alternatively, you can head out with your driver-guide to explore Rio's Olympic Boulevard, walk to the Museum of Tomorrow and venture into Rio's Art Museum. In the evening, you'll have the option to attend a Ginga Tropical evening show with dinner!

Today, you'll transfer to the airport with your English-speaking driver-guide for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu, the gateway to the famous falls by the same name. Upon arrival, you'll be collected and taken to your next hotel. In the afternoon, you'll head out on a tour of the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls. You'll also have the option to visit the Bird Park after your tour.

The Argentine Side of the Falls

The Argentine Side of the Falls

Today, you'll drive to the Iguazú National Park in Argentina. From the visitor’s centre, you'll take the train to the Upper Circuit (1,700 metres) as you admire the panoramic views of the falls, arriving at the Devil’s Throat. Measuring 80 metres high; its horseshoe shape creates a stunning waterfall. From here, walk along the Iguazú River canyon for about three kilometres to the lower circuit (1,500 metres) admiring the regional fauna and flora, feeling the constant presence of the falls.

This morning, you'll head to the airport, leaving the falls behind and fly to Salvador. Upon arrival, you'll be whisked to your hotel. You'll start your tour by visiting the Santa Maria and São Diogo Forts. You'll continue your tour to the Rio Vermelho House. Afterwards, you'll visit the bohemian district of Rio Vermelho and go to the picturesque Largo de Santana. Here, you'll taste the famous Acarajé and awaken your taste buds with a typical African delicacy.

Today, you'll head out on a historic city tour of Salvador. From the Barra neighbourhood, you'll see the Atlantic Ocean and see America’s first lighthouse at Saint Antony Fort. You'll drive through several traditional neighbourhoods like “Corredor da Vitória” and “Campo Grande”. Next, you'll continue towards Pelourinho, Salvador’s old town to admire the colonial mansions, squares, and cathedrals. In the evening, you'll head to a local restaurant and cultural show at the Coliseu in the old town.

Today, you'll have the option to leave Salvador and drive along the coast towards “Praia do Forte”. Along the way, you'll stop at Itapoan beach and admire the nearby sand dunes and mangroves. You'll continue your ride and towards Arembebe beach to visit an old hippie village. When you arrive at “Praia do Forte”, you'll walk around the quaint town and visit the TAMAR project. After lunch in a local restaurant, you'll relax on the beach and swim in the warm waters before driving back to Salvador.
