Today, you'll leave the capital city behind and drive to Karavasta Lagoon, a birdwatcher's, outdoor enthusiast's and nature lover's paradise. Here, you can explore the area's beautiful sandy islands, rolling pine forests and incredible nature on a bike, on foot or on a boat ride. It's the perfect place to spend time with your family. After lunch in one of the area's renowned fish restaurants, you'll continue to Vlore, where you'll visit the 13th-century Narta Monastery and explore the town.

Leaving Vlore behind, you'll head to the beautiful coastal village of Himara. En route, you'll visit Llogara National Park where you'll be able to enjoy a coffee break in the beautiful surroundings where the children will love to play with the deers. Continuing on to Himara, you'll arrive at your hotel where you'll check-in and enjoy a traditional lunch. You'll then have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy Himara's longest and most beautiful beach, Livadhi Beach.

Today on your Albania family holiday, you'll have another chance to explore the beautiful coastline. In the morning, you'll have the option to go out on a boat tour of the Pirate's Cave whose emerald blue waters are most inviting for swimmers. After lunch at a local seafood restaurant, you'll have the afternoon to relax on Himara's most beautiful and longest stretch of beach, Livadhi Beach.

Today, you'll begin the day by visiting the Old Village of Qeparo, split into a lower and upper town. You'll then visit the 15th-century, Venetian-built Ali Pasha Castle before having lunch will the locals in the village. In the afternoon, you'll head down to the Porto Palermo Beach, which is fringed by white cliffs and home to emerald waters. Above the beach sites the Porto Palermo Castle, its the perfect place to swim and watch the sunset.

Leaving Himare behind, you'll travel to Saranda, a quintessential Mediterranean resort. En route, you'll detour to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Butrint National Park, an area of over 9,000 hectares home to rolling hills, freshwater lakes, salt marshes, small islands, wetlands and open plains. Following Butrint, you'll have lunch at the Ksamili Islands before spending some time on the pristine beaches on Ksamil. You'll arrive in Saranda in the evening.

Shortly after departing Saranda for Gjirokaster, you'll stop to explore the Blue Eye, a water spring that produces light blue bubbles in its waters. This is an unforgettable experience for the braves kids who jump into the spring. Upon arriving in Gjirokaster, you'll explore the castle and enjoy lunch in the Old Bazaar. The rest of the afternoon will be free to explore the historical old town of Gjirokaster, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Today, you'll travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Berat. With a history spanning 2,400 years, Berat is a proud landmark of well-preserved Albanian architecture and heritage. Upon arrival, you'll have a guided tour of Berat Castle, a 13th-century fortress overlooking the town. After lunch in a traditional restaurant, you'll head out to explore the old neighbourhoods of Mangalem and Gorica. In Mangalem, you'll be greeted with beautiful facades of houses built along a steep hill.
