Stay in a desert tented camp amid the Erg Chebbi Dunes of Merzouga, before moving into the most mesmerising area of the Moroccan desert, Ouarzazate. You'll stay in an astounding restored riad, with intricate designs and eloquently decorated rooms while learning more about Berber culture and discovering a fortified city like no other.

Arrive in Casablanca airport and drive to Chefchaouen to begin your Morocco sightseeing tour. We stop to hike up into the canyon with endless swaths of green and the waterfalls that seemed to appear around every corner. Then, drive Chefchaouen and enter a mesmerising traditional souk. After you have explored the blue, maze-like streets, you may think about buying some traditional souvenirs.

Enter the world of ancient Morocco on this journey. Beforehand, visit the Bab Monsour Gate, one of the world's most impressive doors in a stunning Spanish-Moorish style. In the afternoon, head to Moulay Idriss which holds a special place in the hearts of the Moroccan people, bringing the religion of Shiism and starting a new dynasty. Volubilis is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins located on a fertile plain surrounded by wheat fields.

Visit the exquisitely decorated Al Attarine Madrasa, the finest example of Marinid architecture, the Bou Inania Madrasa and the very old mausoleum of the founding father of the city: Moulay Idriss II. After lunch, visit Fes El Jdid and embark on a journey of the senses as you pass spice and perfume stalls, restaurants, and tailors with vibrant colours of fabrics and dyes.

Continue to the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi by four-wheel-drive vehicle, where a reception of mint tea and pastries waits at your nomadic tented camp. As the sun sets over the dunes, celebrate your unforgettable desert foray with a scenic sunset camel ride and a traditional meal in front of a campfire.

The Todra Gorge is one of the premier climbing destinations in Morocco. There are hundreds of high-quality climbing routes covering a wide range of difficulties. The Gorge is a great place to learn to climb. There are some great climbing areas geared toward beginners with good bolt and anchor placement with moderate grades. It is easy to find climbing at all grades.

Journey overland to Ouarzazate. En route, the views of the High Atlas’s southern slopes intersect with the Dades Valley’s flourishing crops, irrigation canals, and palm trees. Travel along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” and make a stop at an amazing, small private museum that houses exhibits showcasing local art, culture, and history, before proceeding to Marrakesh.

Visits the Saadian Tombs, displaying intricate stucco and Granada-style carvings and the Bahia Palace, the residence of the grand vizier Si Ahmed Ben Moussa. Stop at the twelfth-century Koutoubia Mosque, with a minaret considered the most perfect Islamic religious structure in North Africa.
