This eight-day holiday in Zimbabwe is a fantastic choice for honeymooning couples!
Zimbabwe is arguably one of southern Africa's most beautiful countries offering an astounding variety of spectacular scenery and wildlife. Added to this is the richness of culture, a fascinating history, a wide variety of attractions and one of the world's best climates.
For these reasons, you'll experience some of Zimbabwe's most romantic destinations on your honeymoon including the UNESCO World Heritage of Matobo National Park followed by a visit to Zimbabwe's largest national park - Hwange.
You'll end your African honeymoon at one of the world's seven natural wonders - Victoria Falls.

Day 1
Arrive at Amalinda Lodge in Matobo National Park

Today, you'll arrive at Bulawayo Airport and transfer to Amalinda Lodge on the outskirts of the Matobo National Park. Amalinda Lodge is a unique, family-run, exclusive four-star luxury lodge set in the granite boulders, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tucked away in an ancient bushman's shelter, Camp Amalinda boasts a spa, infinity rock pool, library, wine cellar, sunset lounge and a chance to follow in the footsteps of Cecil John Rhodes at his world-famous tomb known as the 'View of the World.'

Rhino Tracking & Cave Paintings Activity
Hide details
Early Morning Coffee & Teas served at the Lodge. Proceed for a morning Rhino Tracking Activity to the National Park, where one of the last wild free-roaming rhino populations found anywhere in Africa. Brunch will be served at the Lodge then you will have time to relax at the pool. Mid Afternoon Coffee & Teas will be served at the Lodge then you will proceed once again into the National Park for a visit to some famous Cave Paintings and Rhodes Grave. Dinner will be served at the Lodge.

Travel to Hwange National Park & Afternoon Game Drive
Hide details
After breakfast at the lodge, you'll embark on a four-hour drive to Hwange Main Camp. A picnic lunch will be served en route to the camp at one of the stunning waterholes. You'll stay at The Hide, one of the “Best Safari Lodges” in Zimbabwe located in a prime position in the park. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a 4x4 safari game drive and dinner will be served at the camp at the main A-frame, around the magnificent 22-seater teak dining room table.

Explore the Hwange National Park
Hide details
Early morning coffee and teas will be served at the camp followed by a guided safari game drive in the morning. Brunch will be served upon your return from the game drive then you will have a few hours at leisure to lay poolside or relax in your room. In the afternoon, you'll repeat the morning's activities with teas and coffees followed by a safari game drive. In the evening, dinner will be served at the camp.

Day 5
Full-Day Safari Game Drive in Hwange National Park
Hide details
Early morning coffee and teas will be served at the camp before you head out for your guided safari game drive. Upon your return, brunch will be served at the camp followed by a few hours to relax, enjoy the pool or some downtime in your room. In the afternoon, the process will repeat with teas and coffees followed by another guided safari game drive. Once again, in the evening, dinner will be served at the camp.

Travel to the Elephant Camp & Meet the Elephants
Hide details
After breakfast, you'll transfer from The Hide to the Elephant Camp. The Elephant Camp is nestled on a ridge between the Masuwe River and the Zambezi gorges, giving guests an uninterrupted view of the breathtaking spray that swells above the Victoria Falls rainforest. You'll enjoy lunch on the terrace and in the afternoon, you'll enjoy the Meet the Elephant experience, a great opportunity to unobtrusively interact with some of the biggest personalities in Africa.

Visit the Mighty Victoria Falls & Afternoon Birdwatching Walk
Hide details
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Victoria Falls main entrance gate for a guided tour of the galls. After your guided tour, you'll enjoy a relaxing lunch at the Lookout Cafe with stunning views of the gorges. You'll then take a road transfer back to the lodge where you can either relax by the pool or enjoy a select activity including a birdwatching and nature walk on the concession. In the evening, dinner will be served at the lodge.
