On this eight-day golf highlights tour, you will experience some of the finest courses in Ireland with the comfort of your golfing driver and guide who will show you Ireland's finest pubs and hidden backroads on your way to your course highlights.

Beginning in the small city with a huge reputation known as Dublin, you'll continue south through Wicklow which is known as the Garden of Ireland, the historic South Tipperary, the raw and naturally beautiful Killarney and you'll finish in the Kingdom of Kerry, as it's locally known.

This Ireland golf trip will see you playing at some of the best Links golf courses as well as getting to know the locals, absorbing Ireland's history and plenty of landmarks along the way.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Dublin

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be collected by your local guide and taken on a brief tour of the city. He will point out the major attractions and help you to get your bearings before dropping you off at the hotel so that you can check-in. In the evening, you'll head out on a tour of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, the first newly-opened distillery in Dublin in over 125 years. The evening is yours to do with as you wish, perhaps a theatre visit or a fine dining experience await you.

Today, you'll head out of Dublin to Wicklow to explore what's known as the Garden of Ireland today and on the way to your golf highlight: The European Golf Club. The Wicklow area is known for its spectacular natural scenery and the two passes - Sally Gap and Military Road - deliver fantastic views and an adrenaline-pumping drive. Before arriving in the much-awaited European Gold Cluf to try out one of the top 100 courses in the world, you'll visit the famous 6th-century monastery, Glendalough.

South Tipperary is rich in ancient history with the Rock of Cashel being the most celebrated of these many incredible sites, you'll begin your day by visiting this monument before heading towards Kinsale, your next destination. Before reaching the town, you'll stop on the outskirts to play 18 holes at the Old Head of Kinsale in amongst an area of stunning natural beauty. You'll arrive in Kinsale in the early evening and have some time to explore and learn about the area.

Here is where you will be based to explore the region's finest golf courses beginning with your first round of golf in Tralee. The days that follow will lead you through the Wild Atlantic Way, home to some of the world's most scenic coastal drives.

The Kingdom of Kerry

The Kingdom of Kerry, as it is known by locals, contains some of Ireland's most iconic scenery: sea-pounded sea cliffs and soft beaches, emerald-green farmland with tumbledown stone walls, mist-shrouded bogs and mountain peaks. Today, you'll experience the Dingle peninsula by playing a round of golf with an incredible view offered by the Dooks Golf Club. Followed by a tour of the Killarney National Park and an Irish Whiskey tasting in the evening.

Gravity-defying sand dunes, breath-taking views over the rolling waves and a challenging course awaits you today on your Ireland golf trip. At Ballybunion Old Course you will take on a round of 18 holes in this beautiful area. After finishing golf, you'll have some free time to relax and enjoy the scenery before heading to Ross Castle where you'll take a kayak on the lake before heading back to the hotel.

Another day, another top course! Today, you'll play 18 holes at Waterville Golf Links, which is located on the tail end of the famously scenic Ring of Kerry. This magnificent and windswept course is one of the best of the Links Golf Courses. In the afternoon, you'll also have the chance to explore the pretty and colourful town of Kenmare where you'll find charming restaurants, shops and pubs.
