Today, you'll leave the capital behind in the morning and head south to the Albanian Riviera. On the way, you'll drive through Llogara National Park where you'll have a short stop to admire the deer, the scenery and enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant in the park. In the afternoon, you'll arrive at your seaside hotel in Himara then you'll have the rest of the day to explore the area and relax on the beautiful Livadhi Beach.

Today, you can spend the whole day relaxing at the beautiful Livadh Bay. Known for its beautiful little villages, medieval buildings and cobblestone streets, Albania's southern coastline is also home to an abundance of stunning beaches fringed by pristine waters. The beach is frequented by locals and travellers, you'll find several seafood restaurants nearby. From the beach, you'll have the option to take a boat trip to Pirate's Cave.

After breakfast, you'll take the short journey to Porto Palermo Bay. Here, you'll spend the majority of the day relaxing on the beach, swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Ionian sea and taking in the scenery. You'll also visit the fortress of Ottoman Ali Pasha which towers over the beach and enjoy lunch at the Panorama Fish seafood restaurant. In the early evening, you'll head to Saranda where you'll stay overnight and have dinner at a nice restaurant within the Lekuresi Castle.

In the morning, you'll head out for a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Butrint National Park. An area of 9,424 hectares, the park features rolling hills, freshwater lakes, salt marshes, small islands, wetlands and open plains and is home to over 1,200 species of plants and animals. Offering some of the most stunning beaches in Europe, all fringed by crystal clear turquoise waters, you'll spend the afternoon and enjoy lunch on the Ksamil Islands.

Today, you'll head inland to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Gjirokaster. En route, you'll stop to visit the Blue Eye, a natural spring that fizzes with blue bubbles. Upon arrival, you'll have lunch in a traditional restaurant in the old town before checking in. In the late afternoon, you'll explore Gjirokaster's Old Town, Citadel and Ottoman Houses and enjoy traditional cuisine in the town's local restaurants.

Today, you'll head north to the hilltop city of Berat, known for its white Ottoman houses, Byzantine churches, the Red Mosque and the Onufri National Museum. Listed under the protection of UNESCO, Berat is a World Heritage town with a history spanning 2,400 years. In the afternoon, you'll visit Berat Castle and the neighbourhood of Mangalam where you'll find the beautiful facades of houses built along a steep hill which gives the area its nickname - 'the City of Floating Windows'.
