Overview
Vietnam at a glance is a fantastic option for travellers who want to experience the real Vietnam but find themselves a little short on time.
Your 7 days in Vietnam will start off in Hanoi, the 1000-year-old city that brims with culture and historical significance. You will then depart and travel down to Halong Bay where you will enjoy a scenic cruise and spend the night on the boat.
Then, you'll spend a few days in Southern Vietnam where you will explore the bustling city of Saigon as well as the iconic Mekong Delta.

Day 1
Begin Your 7 Days in Vietnam

Upon your arrival at Hanoi airport, your tour guide and driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel, help with your check-in. The rest of the day is free to discover the city or join an optional tour. Hanoi is a vibrant city with lots to discover through street food, architecture and more. Take a stroll through the Old Quarter, sample some dishes and meet some of the friendly locals.

Day 2
Hanoi to Halong Bay

This morning, you'll set off early for the 3.5-hour drive through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. Upon arrival in Halong City, you'll board your junk. You'll start your journey with a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood as you sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, you'll have some time to relax or enjoy various activities on the water. Take some time to absorb the peaceful view of Halong Bay!

Day 3
Halong Bay to Hanoi & Street Food Tour

Today, you'll start the day with Tai Chi on the top deck. After a light breakfast, you'll explore nearby islands by rowboat. You'll return to the junk, then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay. After brunch, you'll drive back to Hanoi. In the afternoon, you'll head off on a street food tour, visiting a local market and learn about Vietnamese food and understand more about the life of the Vietnamese people.

Day 4
Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, you'll check out and drive to Hanoi airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival in the southern metropolis, your tour guide will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day free to explore Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, at your leisure. There are lots of different markets to visit, lots of cafes and restaurants and also several monuments and buildings to visit in the city centre.

Day 5
Cu Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh City Tour

In the morning, you'll drive an hour to visit the incredible Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. In the afternoon, you'll head back to the city to do some sightseeing, including a visit to the ‘Notre-Dame’ Cathedral, Central Post Office, a fine example of classical French colonial architecture, and some time in the War Remnants Museum. You'll finish your tour at the bustling Ben Thanh Market

Day 6
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta

Today, you'll head off to explore the Mekong Delta on a boat ride on the Mekong River. You'll visit various craft villages to see how to make rice paper, learn how to make coconut candy and coconut souvenirs. You'll hop on a tuk-tuk (or take a bike ride of 3 kilometres) and travel along the narrow shady village roads to visit fruit orchards. You'll enjoy a delicious, local lunch at an ancient house before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City.
