Overview
Travel to Uganda and experience the River Nile at its best. This safari adventure takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, which lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley. Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s favourite park is crossed by the Nile – the longest river in the wild as it flows into the Mediterranean.
In the Murchison Falls National Park conservation area, head out on safari and trek to encounter chimpanzees in Budongo Forest which is home to some 600-700 of these incredible primates. Finish this wonderful week with an adrenaline-pumping adventure in Jinja when you go on a half-day whitewater rafting expedition!

Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your accommodation. Refresh and unwind after your long journey before dinner is served at the hotel restaurant this evening.

Day 2
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park

The drive to Murchison is long, it will be broken up with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will track the incredible white rhinos on foot. Savour a light lunch at the sanctuary, either in the restaurant or as a picnic in the bush. Continue the drive until you reach the edge of the national park. You'll have dinner at the lodge.

Day 3
Murchison Falls Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Hide details
After a hearty breakfast, depart for a game drive through Murchison National Park. Return to the lodge for lunch and a break from your safari. In the late afternoon, head out agin, this time on a boat cruise along the Nile. Before you head back to the lodge, you'll have the option to hike to the top of the falls for some stunning views. You'll have dinner at your lodge tonight.

Day 4
Chimpanzee Trek

An early breakfast will be served in the lodge dining area. Shortly afterwards, you will head out on your chimpanzee trekking experience in Budongo Forest, home to approximately 600 of these incredible primates. Lunch will be served back at the lodge and you will have the rest of the day free to enjoy at the swimming pool or sip on a refreshing drink at the on-site bar.

Day 5
Jinja and Source of the Nile Boat Cruise
Hide details
After breakfast you will leave for Jinja with a stop for lunch at a lodge en-route. Upon your arrival you will check in by the river and relax in your new-found natural setting before going on a boat cruise to the very source of the Nile River. This scenic cruise will finish the day with a sundowner at sunset. You'll cruise back to the guesthouse to relax in the evening.

Day 6
White Water Rafting
Hide details
This morning, head out on an exhilarating half-day river rafting tour where you will tackle some of the biggest yet safest grade 5 white water rafting rapids in the world. Expect to be back at the lodge in time for lunch. Then, you have the whole afternoon free for you to relax by the pool, or to walk into Jinja and explore some of the town, which is only 10 minutes away.

Day 7
Return to Entebbe Airport

Today we bid you farewell. A driver will then transfer you back to Entebbe Airport. Along the way, stop at the African Craft Village which is found in Kampala. This is the perfect spot to pick up any last-minute souvenirs. We wish you a safe onward journey.
