Today, you'll start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Although small in dimension, the park has breathtaking scenery and lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees. It's also home to a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge amount of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos.

After breakfast, you will head to the park for a full-day game drive. Serengeti, in the local language, "endless plains", stretches to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration of two million wildebeests, thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes, impalas and gazelles. Today, you'll travel to your next campsite whilst on your safari drive, enjoying lunch en route.

Today, you'll be lucky enough to spend yet another full day exploring the Serengeti National Park. This is also the place of choice to look for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and many smaller animals together with more than 500 species of birds. You'll head out after breakfast on your safari game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch out on the plains and return to the lodge in time for dinner.

This morning, after an early breakfast, you'll enjoy a final morning game drive around the central region of the Serengeti National Park. In the late afternoon, the adventure continues when you travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you'll be spending the latter half of your trip. En route, you'll stop to enjoy a picnic lunch and you'll arrive at the lodge in time for dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater is considered one of the wonders of the natural world. The crater has 2,000-foot-high walls and is home to almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. The park is also famous for the largest elephants in the world, with huge tusks and one of the rare locations where you can witness the Black Rhino. In the afternoon, you'll return to Arusha.
