Overview

Launch yourself into Ancient Greek history as you make your way through the southern mainlands of Greece. Explore the remains of the ancient city of Mycenae, the centre of Greek civilisation and the first capital city of Greece, Nafplio

Your historical tour of Greece goes to the Byzantine town of Mystras; Sparta, founded in the 9th century and developed into the most powerful military city and the old town of Monemvassia, a perfectly preserved medieval settlement still inhabited! Explore the Diros Caves, which are perhaps the most important natural site in Greece and live a true cave experience!

Visit the most important religious and athletic centre in Greece, Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, and Naupactus, a beautiful seaside small town with a Venetian Port and castle.

One of the highlights of your tour will be exploring the Delphi complex; you'll see the temple sacred to Apollo and the Ancient Oracle where Pythia delivered her predictions. Dare to be enchanted by the amazing view and the picturesque architecture of Kalambaka, where you can taste the traditional Greek cuisine!

Visit Meteora and admire the creation of God and man, of the ageless monasteries of Meteora that combine both historical and religious treasures. You'll feel like you are standing between Earth and sky!
