Your Italy itinerary is 5 days from Rome to Venice, beginning in the Eternal City, where you'll learn all about the rich history of the Roman Empire through the city's beautiful monuments. Moving on, you'll catch the fast train to Florence where you'll discover why this city is known as the 'Cradle of the Renaissance'. Your final stop will be in Venice, a city built entirely on water and spread over 100 islands that captivates each and every visitor!

Day 1

Arrive in Rome

Upon arrival in Rome, you'll hop in a taxi and head to your city centre accommodation. The rest of the afternoon will then be free for you to explore or get acquainted with the 'Eternal City'. During your free time, you can explore the architectural wonders of Ancient Rome and the Baroque era or spend a leisurely afternoon in the cafes of the city listening to music and watching the world go by on a busy square.

Vatican Museums & The Colosseum

You'll begin the day by walking to the Vatican Museums where you'll meet your guide for a tour of this fascinating landmark. The museums are a labyrinth of artworks, guiding visitors through building after building; masterpiece after masterpiece. After your tour at the Vatican museum, you'll enjoy lunch in one of the many local restaurants before getting in the taxi to the Colosseum. You'll be taken on a guided tour of the symbol of the city, the Colosseum.

This morning after breakfast, you'll check out and make your way to the train station in Rome to catch your fast train to Florence. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel then head out on a guided tour of some of Florence's key landmarks. The longest-standing symbol of Florence, up until 1218 Ponte Vecchio was the only bridge that crossed the Arno River.

This morning, you'll have some free time to visit any of the landmarks or iconic sights of Florence that you have not had a chance to see yet. You'll then take a taxi to the train station to catch your fast train to Venice. Upon arrival, you'll catch a water taxi to your hotel and check-in. The afternoon will be spent getting to know Venice and learning all about its history and famous landmarks with a guide. You'll begin in the famous square, Piazza San Marco.
