Cruising the Mighty Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves

One day tour explores the mysterious Pak Ou Caves by boat. You'll stop for lunch before making your way back to the city to continue sightseeing. The city sights you'll see today include Wat Xiengthong, Royal Palace and the Traditional Art and Ethnology Centre. At night, do a little shopping and see what is for sale at the market, you'll be surprised by what people bring to sell here!

Alms Giving and Kuang Si Waterfalls

Wake up early for the daily morning almsgiving where you watch locals giving food to the local monks. Admire the panoramic views over the ancient city from Phousi Hill after a steep climb to catch the morning dew. Then, take a minivan out to refresh at Kuang Si Waterfalls where you can climb, walk and swim to explore this area. Take the late afternoon flight to Vientiane and arrive in time to venture out to get dinner.

Starting your Vientiane tour by visiting Wat Si Muang, which is famous for its supernatural powers. Head out to explore the intriguing collection of Buddha Park, which was built by a secret monk to spread his philosophy about life and universe. In the afternoon, visit the city centre with beautiful temples, visit Wat Sisaket, Haw Prakeo, Pha That Luang, and Patuxay. Finish the day with the walk along Mekong River at sunset.
