Overview
Venture out on a safari in Africa's most famous wildlife area: Masai Mara. The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomises Africa for many, and then add a Masai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further.
The annual wildebeest migration through Serengeti and Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rain to the watering holes in the region.
That is not where the game viewing ends; the large pride of lions, herds of elephants and towers of giraffes gather in the grasslands to mention but a few. Aside from traditional vehicle safaris, game walks and hot-air ballooning over the Mara plains has become almost essential.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi and Onward to the Masai Mara

On arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met at by our driver and vehicle and transfer by road the local airport, Wilson, for your onward flight to the Masai Mara. You will be greeted on arrival at the Mara airstrip and transferred through the park to camp, arriving in time for lunch. Start your Masai Mara safari with an afternoon game drive before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 2
Full Day on Safari in the Masai Mara

Experience the vast beauty of the Mara plains with game drives and walks in the Mara North Conservancy. Today will provide ample opportunities for you to see the Big 5, among others. The best time to see wildlife is in the early morning and early evening, as this the weather is cooler, the animals come to play. To finish off the day, you'll have a game walk, rewarded with a sundowner.

Day 3
Morning and Afternoon Game Drives in the Masai Mara

Enjoy exploring the area surrounding the camp and finding the resident wildlife. See the great herds of zebra and wildebeest grazing in their natural habitat across this vast stretch of land. The Masai Mara is unique in that it is very much looked after by the local community. Today, you'll learn about all the projects in place to ensure that animals always thrive from this land.

We have arranged for you to have a late departure from camp today, so take one last morning game drive and head for the airstrip after lunch for your flight back to Nairobi. You will be met at the local airport and transferred to a place of your choice.
