A classic road trip is one of the best ways to experience New South Wales and the stunning beaches, awe-inspiring sand dunes and native wildlife in Port Stephens. As well as exploring the town, its rainforest and 26 beautiful beaches and coves, you'll also head out on an organised quad bike tour, dolphin cruise and sandboarding adventure!

Port Stephens is an idyllic coastal destination just north of Sydney. A classic road trip is one of the best ways to experience New South Wales and the stunning beaches, awe-inspiring sand dunes and native wildlife in Port Stephens. Upon arrival at the hotel, you'll check-in and then have a rest before heading off on the ultimate adventure! You'll ride along the largest moving coastal sand mass in the Southern Hemisphere on the fleet of 400CC Kymco Quad Bikes.

Day 2
Dolphin Cruise & Sandboarding the Stockton Dunes

Today, you'll begin the day with a cruise of the Port Stephens Harbour for 1.5 hours on your dolphin watch cruise and enjoy a 99% sighting rate, boom net rides plus morning or afternoon tea, all with a full commentary. Then, you'll venture onto the Stockton Bight Sand Dunes in a purpose-built 4WD (look for the red buses), transporting you to 40-50 metre-high sand dunes where boards, instruction and supervision are provided by your guides.
