Starting from Melbourne, you'll visit all the animals of the coast in just a matter of hours, including a boat trip to see the fur seals in the conservation on the coast and the spectacular march of the penguins as they arrive on the shore as the sunsets.

Itinerary
Day 1
Melbourne to Phillip Island

Be blown away by the rugged beaches of Phillip Island, as we cross the bridge to check out the giant surf at Woolamai Beach. Take a virtual journey into the Southern Ocean and Antarctica through interactive and immersive experiences in this exhibition. Enjoy an up-close encounter with one of Australia’s largest colonies of fur seals and see these amazing marine mammals in their natural environment. Then the highlight of the day is a magical procession of little penguins coming ashore.

Great Ocean Road Trip

Take an early ferry ride from Sorrento to Queenscliff. The Great Ocean Road is one of the best coastal drives in the world, famous for the magnificent Twelve Apostles, its constantly changing coastline and famous surf beaches. These magnificent rocky stacks of limestone cliffs that rise up out of the ocean are constantly being eroded and carved up by the ferocious, crashing waves. In fact, one 70 metres high rock stack collapsed in 2005 and the double-arched "London Bridge" fell down in 1990.
