Overview
This Lesotho tour packs all the highlights into 3 days of overland travelling! Highlights are the Sani Pass, Dinosaur Footprints, Kome Caves and the Maletsunyane Falls.
To launch you straight into the Lesotho way of life, you'll meet and get to know locals as soon as you arrive. During your time here, you'll stay in thatched-roof guesthouses that are centre to the sites of Lesotho, giving you ample opportunity to learn about the history and culture with trips to caves that are still used as housing.

Travel to the Roof of Africa

From Underberg, we travel up the Sani Pass and into the Lesotho Highlands, this route is known as the Roof of Africa and is amazingly picturesque. Before settling down for the evening, you'll have some time to get to know the locals.

Culture & History

Today, you will spend time in the lowlands of Lesotho. Visit an archeological site with dinosaur footprints, dating millions of years back, then onto a highlight of this tour, the cave dwellings at Kome. Lunch is in the capital, Maseru and in the afternoon, we meander back into the Highlands to another key feature of this trip, Semonkong.

Wake up in your cosy, thatched-roof lodge for a hearty breakfast made entirely from local produce. After a visit to the awe-inspiring Maletsunyne Falls, we make our way back into South Africa through scenic Lesotho mountain passes. We hope you enjoyed your short but sweet Lesotho Tour.
