Overview
Over three days, you'll travel from Fes to Marrakesh, through the Merzouga Desert and the towns of Tinghir and Ouarzazate.
After descending into the desert, you'll spend your first night trekking across the sand dunes at sunset to your traditional Berber camp. After an authentic dinner, you'll retire to your desert tent for the evening beneath a carpet of stars.
The next day, you'll leave the Merzouga desert behind as you embark on a journey to Ouarzazate via Tinghir. Travelling along the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs along the ancient caravan route, you'll make stops at the Todgha Gorge and the Dadès Valley before arriving in Ouarzazate for the night.

Day 1
Fes to Marrakesh

Today, you'll depart Fes and drive through a cedar forest and see the resident monkeys, before descending to the Sahara Desert. Later, you'll arrive at the traditional kasbah at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes. After settling in, you'll enjoy the beauty of the sunset on a camel ride across the dunes. At the traditional Berber camp, you'll enjoy mint tea and an authentic dinner whilst gazing at the stars before spending a night in a Berber tent.

Day 2
Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Tinghir

Today, you'll leave the Merzouga desert behind as you embark on a journey to Ouarzazate via Tinghir. You'll head out on the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs along the ancient caravan route. This area has been a popular location for Hollywood films such as The Last Temptation of Christ and Jewel of the Nile. You'll stop for lunch and a walk in the Todgha Gorge and then travel through the Dadès Valley past dramatic escarpments. You'll have dinner at your hotel in Ouarzazate when you arrive.

Ouarzazate Tour & Departure

Today, you'll explore the town of Ouarzazate, including the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios – the largest and most famous movie studios in Africa. You'll then finish your tour and head to the airport or railway station for your next destination.
