Overview
This short 3-day Greece tour is perfect for those who want to go on a classical tour of Greece but are a little short on time. During this itinerary, you will visit some of the most important archaeological sites in Greece that hide centuries of history and culture.
You will spend some time in the birthplace of the Olympic Games, Ancient Olympia and will be able to embrace the Olympic spirit! Your visit to Delphi will see you travelling back in time when Pythia delivered oracles during the classical period.
Finally, you will get a chance to marvel at the incredible monasteries in Meteora, that are uniquely situated atop of huge rocks and surrounded by sweeping landscapes. This trip is not one to miss if you love history and Greek culture!

Day 1
Ancient Olympia Tour

Welcome to Greece! Today you will go on a full-day tour to visit some of Greece's most interesting cultural and archaeological sites. Your tour will start in Athens, where you will drive along the Attica coastline and treating to beautiful panoramas on the way. Then you will head to the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the first Olympic Games. After the tour, you will make the journey to the seaside town of Naupactus before making your way to Delphi in the afternoon.

Delphi Archaeological Site

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll visit the archaeological site of Delphi. Delphi is perhaps best known for the oracle that was dedicated to Apollo during the classical period. After, you'll reach the village of Arachova, the most bustling winter destination of Greece, standing at 1000 metres. Then you'll drive through central Greece to arrive in Kalambaka, a small traditional town built at the foot of the great Meteora monasteries.

End of Your 3-Day Greece Tour

This morning you will visit Meteora and enjoy the impressive scenery of monasteries standing between the earth and the sky atop of huge rocks. You will visit the great monastery of Varlaam and the monastery of St. Stephan, where you will see Christian and Byzantine relics inside. After lunch, you will depart for Athens stopping at Thermopylae where 300 Spartans fought against the Persian soldiers. You will be dropped in Athens to mark the end of your 3-day Greece tour.
