Itinerary
Day 1
Fly to Chitwan, Check into Jungle Lodge & Village Walk

Your driver will take you to the airport for a short flight to Bharatpur. Then, it's a 32-kilometre drive to Barahi Jungle Lodge, which sits on the banks of Rapti river in a small village of Tharu. After lunch, you will walk to the nearby Tharu village. This village is famous for its close and personal observation of the Tharu culture and daily lifestyle. Back at the hotel, you'll enjoy afternoon tea and a slide presentation. Later on, you'll enjoy an authentic Nepalese dinner.

Day 2
Safari, Nature & Culture Day

The jeep safari is a great way to get a close look at rhinos, crocodiles, wild boar and deer. You'll stop to have a drink and visit the crocodile breeding centre. During the nature walk, you'll see the natural habitats of the wild animals. Later, you'll sail along the Rapti River looking out for crocodiles and other wetland Species. If lucky, you'll see the rhinos wallowing in water. In the evening, you'll attend the Tharu cultural show with dances like the stick dance and fire dance.

This morning you have an option to take a short jungle walk or go on a bird watching excursion. Then, it's time for breakfast where you can share your animal experiences with your new friends and say your goodbyes to Chitwan National Park. You'll head to the airport and then return by plane to Kathmandu.
