Overview
Over three days, you'll discover two gems of Northern Vietnam: Ban Gioc Waterfall and Ba Be Lake.
This trip starts in Hanoi and continues on a Cao Bang tour, stopping on the way to visit local villages and take in the stunning scenery. In Cao Bang, you'll lay eyes on the Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Asia.
You'll continue the trip to Ba Be Lake, one of the world's largest freshwater lakes, a picturesque place to stay and relax. You will stay in a homestay at a local Tay family's house.
Although this trip is short, it will leave you with a long-lasting memory of Vietnam.

Your Ba Be Lake and Cao Bang Tour Starts Here!

Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel then drive you to Cao Bang where you will see one of Vietnam's most beautiful natural masterpieces - Ban Gioc Waterfall. It is a long journey, but it is worth it for the beauty of the Cao Bang area. Upon arrival, you'll check into your local ethnic homestay and experience the traditional lifestyle whilst enjoying dinner prepared by your host family.

Day 2
Ban Gioc Waterfall and Ba Be Lake

Continue your Cao Bang tour today by visiting Ban Gioc Waterfall and taking some beautiful pictures. Around 10 am, you'll check out and drive back to Cao Bang, where you'll visit Nguom Ngao Cave. Nguom Ngao is an impressive cave and one of the highlights of this trip. You'll then continue to Ba Be Lake and national park. Ba Be is one of the world's largest freshwater lakes. This evening, you will experience another homestay at the house of a local Tay family.

Boat Trip on Ba Be Lake and Back to Hanoi

After breakfast, you'll say goodbye to your host family and then take the boat trip to visit Ba Be Lake. You'll visit Dau Dang Waterfall and Puong Cave on the way. Afterwards, you'll be picked up by your driver and make your way back to Hanoi, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel. This is the end of your wonderful Cao Bang tour!
