Itinerary
Day 1
Hanoi Arrival & City Tour
Hide details 
You'll be met by your guide at Hanoi airport arrival hall and transferred to your hotel where you'll leave your luggage before taking a city tour. You will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda and Tran Quoc Pagoda. You'll then have lunch at Le Hanoi Gourmet. After lunch, you'll visit the Temple of Literature, St Joseph Cathedral, the Hanoi Opera house, Ngoc Son Temple and then hop on a traditional cyclo around the Old Quarter.

Day 2
Halong Bay Cruise

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll begin your Halong Bay tour from Hanoi for your Bai Tho overnight cruise. This is a small traditional junk, perfect to sit near the window and admire the scenery and slow pace of the area. After lunch on board, you'll stop at the Surprise Cave and enjoy some beach activities at Soi Sim Beach. In the evening, you'll have dinner on board then try your hand at squid fishing, which is a lot harder than it looks!

Day 3
Halong Bay to Hanoi
Hide details
After a leisurely breakfast, you'll glide in small boats to the Luon Caves. Passing through the entrance, you come across a tranquil round lake, with monkeys, orchids and high stone walls all around you. You'll then cruise back to the mainland and take a shuttle bus back to Hanoi where you'll head to the airport for your departing flight.
