Overview

Low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and the Gulf of Thailand make up Cambodia, a serene vista that you are about to call home for one month, on an adventure of a lifetime.

Phnom Penh, its capital, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum's historical and archaeological exhibits is where you begin, before heading out into the rural countryside.

You'll spend two weeks hopping between homestays, getting to know locals and exploring the verdant nature of this landscape with the safety of local guides. You'll swim in waterfalls, meet elephants and learn about community projects that are set in place to help Cambodia recover from its unfortunate past.

In the country's northwest are the ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire, your last and most famous stop before heading to the remote island of Koh Rong. You'll go on a once-in-a-lifetime tour by tuk-tuk to learn about the Khmer Empire, one of the strongholds of Southeast Asia in the 15th century.

Finish your Cambodia itinerary in Koh Rong, where crystal clear waters, sunshine and what beach to go to next will be your only worries.
