Overview
Get acquainted with some adorable creatures in a whistle-stop tour to a colony that is found just outside of the Wellington - New Zealand's capital.
You'll be put up in one of the most modern hotels in the city, famed for its unique design, where you'll be able to have a peaceful night's sleep before your big adventure. Starting early morning, you'll be whisked off on your seal journey. You'll pass by some of Wellington's most famous landmarks before being launched into the depths of rural New Zealand, heading towards the colony.
The preservation and conservation of this Wellington seal colony is partially responsible for the repopulation of a once endangered fur seal species. You'll get to know them from afar, as you watch them swim, play and sleep in safety.

Wellington Seal Colony Experience

Rise early to begin your nature-lovers adventure! You'll start in the city, going past some of the most iconic landmarks in Wellington before breaking into the rural Kiwi landscape on your way to the seal colony. These fur seals were nearly made extinct in the 19th century, but thanks to places like this, numbers are rising once more. Take your time and get to know them!
