Day 1
Welcome to Kyoto & East Kyoto Highlights Private Walking Tour

Whether you're coming from Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya or another city, you'll arrive in Kyoto to begin this itinerary. If you're travelling from Tokyo or Nagoya, it is recommended to take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto. After arriving in Kyoto, you will meet your local guide and head off on an private East Kyoto tour visiting sights such as the Gion District, where you may spot a geisha or two.

West Kyoto Highlight Private Walking Tour & Departure

Today, you'll check out of the hotel and head off with your local guide for a tour around the west side of Kyoto. There, you will feel even more relaxed with the outdoor scenery; you'll visit the famous Bamboo Grove, Nijo Castle and more. You can use a service to send your luggage to the Kyoto Station from the hotel and receive your bags in the evening. Then, you'll be able to take the bullet train to your next destination or to the airport.
