This morning will be at your leisure to explore the city as you wish or relax at your hotel after your long journey. Around 2 pm, your guide will come to the hotel to you pick up to walk around District One to see Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market where you can buy many local products. Later on, at night, you will walk around the walking street to taste local food.

Today, you'll visit the Cu Chi Tunnels - a network of tunnels, which stretches for over 200 kilometres and became legendary during the 1960s. The Cu Chi Tunnels played a vital part in the US-Vietnam War in that they allowed the Viet Cong to control a large rural area only 30 to 40 kilometres from Saigon. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border. You'll explore this incredible tunnel network and then return to the city for another tour.

You'll depart for Cai Be by car via the Trung Luong Express Highway, stopping to take photos in Tan An town overlooking the picturesque flat rice fields. On arrival in Cai Be, you'll set off by motorboat to visit the Cai Be Floating Market and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities onboard their vessels. you'll visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made, then wander into the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.

Today, after breakfast, you'll have the entire day free to spend as you wish. Ho Chi Minh City is an exciting city which offers something for everyone. You can head back into the city centre and visit the landmarks that you may not have been to yet such as Nguyen Hue, City Hall and Bitexco Tower. Alternatively, you may wish to see a different side of the city and head to Chinatown.

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will be free until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. When you arrive in Da Nang, your guide and driver will greet you and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An, the beautiful UNESCO-listed yellow town, to check-in. You'll have the remainder of your day to explore before settling in for the night.

After breakfast, your guide and driver come to pick you up to visit the Marble Mountains. You'll enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain, visit the mysterious pagodas and the sculpturing village. Then, you'll head to the Son Tra peninsula, passing My Khe Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches Forbes magazine’s voted. Then, you’ll visit Linh Ung Pagoda with the highest Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam.

Today, you are free today to walk around Hoi An ancient town and explore as you wish. This beautiful UNESCO-listed town is full of tailors, cafes and lovely restaurants. It's a great place to have something special made (in less than 24 hours) to return home with. You may also like to find a nice spot in a cafe overlooking the river and watch the world go by - another must do in Hoi An.

Today, your tour guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby early in the morning for your transfer to Ba Na Hills. After finishing the first cable car, you will visit the Golden Bridge, the bridge that became famous when it opened and is now one of the world's most prominent pedestrian bridges. Whilst here, you'll also visit Le Jardin D’amourn which consists of nine gardens and Linh Ung pagoda, before returning to Hoi An.

After breakfast, your guide will come to pick you up and take you to Tra Que village. You will be welcomed with a special local soft drink of water or local tea. After your welcome, you'll take a short walk around the vegetable garden to see local farmers at work. You'll begin to learn how to cook local delicacies including banh xeo, tam huu spring rolls, Tra Que spring rolls and more. After your cooking class, you'll enjoy the foods you cooked!

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be free until your driver picks you up to take you to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you'll be once again picked up and taken to your hotel to check-in. You'll have the remainder of your day to explore Hanoi on your own or relax at your hotel after your journey.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up for your tour of the city. You'll have a full-day tour of Vietnam’s capital city. You will visit the house on stilts of Ho Chi Minh where uncle Ho spent the final years of his life, the One Pillar Pagoda which was constructed in 1049, the Museum of Ethnology and the Literature Temple. Later on, you'll attend a water puppet show and join a street food tour at night to taste the delicacies of the north.

Bai Dinh Pagoda is the largest spiritual pagoda in Vietnam and one of the must-see places in Ninh Binh. Today, you'll head south to visit the beautiful Trang An landscape complex in Ninh Binh. Here, you will admire famous karst mountains which are very unique in Vietnam as well as Asia. This place is often referred to as the 'Halong Bay on Land' and you'll see why when you arrive.

Today, your cruise departs from the harbour for an unforgettable trip to discover the beauty of the UNESCO-listed Halong Bay. Along the way, you will have chance to pass through the grandeur of the legendary bay with thousands of limestone islands such as Dog Rock, Duck Rock and especially Thumb Rock, a beautiful limestone islet rising from seawater in the shape of a giant thumb. It will be a magical day discovering the highlights of Halong Bay before returning to Hanoi.

After breakfast at your hotel in Hanoi, you will be free until your driver comes to transfer you to the airport for your flight to Dien Bien Phu. When you arrive in Dien Bien Phu, your driver will greet you and escort you to the hotel for check-in. You'll have the remainder of your day free to rest before your exciting activities in the morning.

Dien Bien Phu is one of the most remote parts of Vietnam. For centuries, Dien Bien Phu was a transit stop on the caravan route from Myanmar and China to Northern Vietnam. In early 1954, Dien Bien Phu was the site of that rarest of military events - a battle that can be called truly decisive. You'll spend the day exploring the landmarks and important sites of this unique place in Vietnam.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be free until your transfer to the airport for your flight back to Hanoi. When you arrive in Hanoi, your driver will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. You'll then have the rest of the day as free time to set out and explore the places in Hanoi you haven't yet been able to. You may also like to pick out a special restaurant or a dish you haven't tried yet for your final meal in Hanoi.
