Today, you'll embark on a city tour with your English-speaking guide, firstly going up the iconic Corcovado, a world-renowned symbol of Rio. Later, you'll visit Santa Teresa, which used to be one of the wealthiest residential neighbourhoods of Rio. Santa Teresa now shelters a diverse population in the bohemian quarter of modern Rio. In Lapa, you'll visit the Escadaria do Convento da Santa Teresa. Later, you'll visit another icon of the city: the world-famous Sugarloaf Mountain.

Located in the heart of the city, Tijuca National Park is the biggest urban forest in the world and the best option to hike in Rio. The trail is relatively short, around 35-40 minutes of a steep climb. Once you arrive at the top, you'll be taken aback with the beautiful view in front of you. In the afternoon, a specialised guide will take you on an "off-the-beaten-track" visit to the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. In a couple of hours, you will see a different reality of Rio.

Today, you'll leave Rio behind and fly to Foz do Iguacu. Later, in a private vehicle, you will head to the Brazilian side of the Iguaçu Park and admire a wonderful panoramic view. The Iguaçu National Park, 185,000 acres, was created in 1939 and its ecological reserve was classified as a Natural Heritage site by the UNESCO. You will pass hundreds of small falls before reaching the last one, Floriano Fall. On the way back, you will stop at the bird park (Parque das Aves).

Today, you'll meet your English-speaking guide at your hotel and transfer to the Argentinian side of the park. You'll then enjoy a half-day visit of the falls from the Argentina side (upper circuit), from where you will get closer to the water, and of the impressive "Devil’s Canyon" under your feet. Then, you'll return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Your day will start with the ecological hike of the Indian that will bring you to the kayak base in the Iguaçu River. This hike will take you to the heart of the Atlantic forest to admire its biodiversity. You'll then embark on your kayak or stand-up paddle towards the Tamanduá River to admire the magnificent nature. You'll then be transferred to the airport where you'll fly to Manaus. In Manaus, you'll be met and transferred to your city centre hotel for the evening.

Today, you'll leave Manaus behind and venture deep into the Amazon, You'll drive along the highway until you reach a traditional village from which you'll take a boat to your Amazon lodge. You'll check into your accommodation and have a rest before you head out on a canoe tour of the flooded forest. Back at the lodge, you'll share the photos and stories from the day waiting for a fantastic dinner. Later on, you'll head out on a boat tour to spot alligators.

This morning, a canoe and local guide will pick you up and take you to the starting point for your trek. This will give you an opportunity to learn about various native plants, some with medicinal designation and others with cosmetic uses, giving an enlightening insight to the way we consider nature. After a break during the hottest part of the day, you'll head out on a piranha fishing tour. At the end of the day, you'll enjoy a well-deserved dinner and some personal time to relax.

You'll wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise tour in the Amazon before heading back to Manaus to catch your flight to Salvador. The sunrise boat tour is an amazing opportunity to experience the beauty of the Amazon in the early morning hours. You'll then take a canoe tour to see the wonderful pink dolphins, creatures which are almost domestic since they are so familiar in their behaviour with human beings. In the afternoon, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Salvador.

You'll discover the area best representing the heart and soul of Salvador. With the influences of its African origins, the city has built a unique identity in Latino America, with a daily life animated by capoeira rhythms and the religious festivities of the candomblé. You'll visit many of the city's landmarks, markets and best spots.

Today with your guide, you'll go to Cachoeira, one of the colonial pearls of the North East, two hours away. Shortly after leaving, you will start to feel the typical atmosphere of the Recôncavo. On your way to Cachoeira, you will cross sugar cane, manioc and tobacco plantations.. You will stop in Santo Amaro, the birth town of the musician Caetano Veloso, discover the rich historical past of the town of Cachoeira and walk through the narrow streets of São Felix.

Today, you'll have some time to explore Salvador on your own before you travel two hours up the coast to Imbassai for your final few days.
