This morning with your guide, you will go on a walking tour in the old town. You will first visit the Hippodrome, then you will head to Topkapi Palace to check out the home of Sultans for centuries. You'll continue to Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar and then Suleymaniye Mosque. You will have a local lunch, walk through the local markets and end up at the Spice market. Around 6pm, you will meet your tour guide back at your hotel to hit the streets for a tasting trail in Beyoglu District.

Today, it's time to pack your bags to fly down to the centre of the country, land of beautiful horses – Cappadocia! You'll arrive in Cappadocia after lunchtime and check in to your cave rooms. After a short break at your hotel, you will head to Open Air Museum, to visit the rock-cut cave churches from early Christian times. After your visit, you will head to Goreme village for a visit Mrs Nuray’s Cave House for a homecooked meal!

This morning, you will head to the underground city of Ozkonak to discover the land of early Christians. Afterwards, you will go higher up to Uchisar Castle. On the way back to your hotel, you will stop by the underground pottery workshop and watch how locals make their pottery in this region. You will get to try to make your own pot as well! After a break back at the hotel, you will head to the biggest underground cellar in the country to join a wine tasting session.

Today is at your leisure. The carved landscapes of Cappadocia spread over 10 villages that are surrounded by an arid landscape that carves its way quite literally into them as the buildings blend in with the rich reds and pastel whites of the landscape. You can spend the day exploring Cappadocia's unique beauty. In the evening, your tour leader will take you to a special restaurant for a special meal – pottery kebap! You will learn how it’s cooked and watch how it is served.

This morning, you will head back to Kayseri airport and fly to Izmir, the third biggest city and the most sophisticated city in the country. After landing to Izmir, you will continue to Sirince, a cute village which is close to the ancient site of Ephesus. You'll have the afternoon free and in the evening, you will be hosted by a local restaurant and try Turkish ravioli called ‘Manti’ – you will get to meet the chef and hear her cooking tips!

This morning, you will visit one of the best-preserved ancient sites in Minor Asia – Ephesus. After the visit, you will head to a local lounge to try Turkish pancakes – Gozleme! You will get to watch ladies making it and marvel at their skill. In the afternoon, you will be hosted by Mujde, the owner of the hotel, and you'll join her cooking class to try your hand at preparing some traditional Turkish dishes!

This morning, you will head to Ayvalik, a small fishing town along the coast which produces the best olive oil in the country. On the way, you will stop at a local winery and enjoy your lunch with local wine! Once you arrive at your hotel, you will have a break to enjoy the beautiful setup. In the evening, your leader will take you to a local meyhane (Turkish version of a tavern) to try local mezes, salads and raki (Turkish version of Ouzo).

After your relaxing breakfast, you will be picked up by your local friends and head to the local market to hear the stories of local products from the west coast of Turkey. You will buy vegetables, fruits, cheese, desserts and wine from the market and head to a picnic area which is facing the Aegean Sea. You will enjoy having a picnic with locals and hear the stories of this part of the country! The rest of the day will then be free to spend as you wish.

This morning, you will hit the roads again to head to Gallipoli and Canakkale. On the way, you will stop at the biggest olive oil museum in the country to see how traditional olive oil is produced in this region. After this visit, you will stop at Troy, another important ancient site in the country which, since antiquity, has been identified as the Troy known from the legend. The rest of your day will then be at your leisure in Canakkale.

This morning you will cross the Dardanelles and get to the Asian side to visit the ANZAC and Turkish memorials and cemeteries in Gallipoli. You will have a very special but limited lunch today – you will have the lunch of ANZAC and Turkish soldiers had more than 100 years ago at the trenches. After your tour and lunch, you will continue to Istanbul for your final few days. The evening will be free to spend as you wish.

Today, you'll have the day free to explore any sights of Istanbul you haven't yet been able to and soak up the city on your final full day. Visiting Istanbul is nothing short of an extraordinary cultural experience. There are so many factors that make the city appealing it would be hard to choose just one. In the evening, your guide will collect you to take you to the rooftop restaurant for your farewell dinner.
