This morning you'll leave Florence behind with a train to Siena. After checking into your accommodation, you'll meet your guide for a private guided tour of the city. The tour starts at the San Domenico church, where the remains of Saint Catherine, protector of Italy and Europe are kept.

Today, you'll head out of Siena on a guided join-in excursion to see the small beautiful towns of Tuscany and taste Tuscan wine in local wineries. You'll begin the day in San Gimignano, a medieval hill town southwest of Florence surrounded by 13th-century stone walls and many towers. Next, you'll stop in Montalcino, a beautiful medieval hilltop city with a castle that overlooks it. After lunch in a Chianti winery, you'll enjoy a wine tasting of the local wines made only in this region.
