After breakfast at your hotel, a private driver will transfer you to Hai Phong where you will hop aboard your cruise for the next few days. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the boat before embarking on a cruise around Halong Bay. Visit the stunning Dark and Bright Cave - one of the most iconic caves in the area. In the afternoon you will have a traditional Vietnamese cooking class and you will get to indulge in your creations after. Experience squid fishing in the evening or enjoy a movie night.

In the morning, you will be served a light breakfast with an extensive tea demonstration in restaurant. Then, the boat will take you to Cat Ba Island, where you can enjoy a cycling and trekking tour to Viet Hai village. After, you will return to the boat and enjoy lunch with the scenic views of the bay surrounding you. In the afternoon, you will go kayaking and swimming around the Ba Trai Dao area, with emerald waters and limestone cliffs as your backdrop.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast before heading out for one more cruise on the boat. You will be able to enjoy some kayaking and swimming around the limestone cliffs and marvel at the beauty of nature around the Tra Bau area. After lunch on the boat, you will pack your belongings and check out of your cabin. Then you will make the drive back to Hanoi by private car, a journey that takes around two and a half hours.

This morning, you'll have breakfast at your hotel and check out. A driver will then transfer you to Hanoi's airport for your short one-hour flight to Da Nang. You will get picked up at Da Nang airport and will be driven to Hoi An where you will be spending the next few days. You have the rest of the afternoon free to unpack your belongings and to explore Hoi An at your own leisure.

Kick back and relax in Hoi An, as you will be spending the next few days in this gorgeous sea-fronted town. Hoi An is known for its lanterns that light up the city at night, its yellow-painted walls and its textile industry. Many visitors that come to Hoi An take the opportunity to get clothes tailor-made for them at an affordable price. If you wander around the old town you'll find the streets jam-packed with shops selling leather shoes, bags and all types of garments.

Today, you'll spend another day at your leisure in Hoi An. If you want, you have the option to go on a tour to My Son Sanctuary, a complex of abandoned Hindu temples constructed between the 4th and 13th centuries. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is well worth a visit for its spiritual importance and legacy of the Champa civilisation.

You'll spend another day in beautiful Hoi An exploring the area at your own pace. One of the best ways to get around Hoi An is by bicycle. You can cycle through lantern-lined streets in the ancient town and whiz past lush verdant rice fields in the countryside surrounding the town. If you're lucky you'll even catch a glimpse of the water buffaloes and birds that like to laze around the rice paddies.

On your last day in Hoi An, you can either stay in the city or take a day trip to visit nearby Danang, which is only an hour away by car. Da Nang is home to a beautiful white sand beach which is perfect for a sun-fuelled relaxing day. You can also take a visit to the Marble Mountains, a must-see excursion when visiting Central Vietnam, which provides breathtaking views of the coastline.

After breakfast at your hotel this morning, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight from Da Nang to Saigon. The flight only takes around one hour, and a car will pick you up and take you to your hotel in the city centre upon your arrival. The rest of the day is free to explore the wonderfully chaotic city of Saigon, where you'll find a charming mix of the old and new.

You'll spend your last full day of this fun-filled 12-day Vietnam tour exploring the lively city of Ho Chi Minh, or as locals refer to it, Saigon. This large city features many different districts, each with its own landmarks and points of interest. District 1 features excellent street food stalls and quaint local coffee shops. You'll visit Ben Thanh Market where you can get lost amongst the narrow alleyways lined with textiles, souvenirs and knick-knacks.
