Today visit the historic Reunification Palace and the Remnants Museum, before seeing the architectural delights of the French architects like the Colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office. Lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant and then travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels in the afternoon. Dinner at Saogon Skydeck (optional).

After breakfast at the hotel take an excursion to Vinh Long. Arrive at the tourist boat station in Cai Be where you will be welcomed with a fresh coconut before boarding the boat. Enjoy the fresh air on the Mekong River and visit the floating market, which is the original form of commerce on the Mekong River. Spend the night in a local home-stay.

After breakfast, say goodbye to the local host. You will continue boating to An Binh Garden, where you can enjoy a cup of tea and sample some of the local tropical fruits. The traditional music that plays adds to the ambience and makes this a particularly relaxing stop. In the afternoon, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, take a morning flight to Danang. From there, you will visit Marble Mountain before transferring to Hoi An, a charming town full of old houses and temples. After lunch, enjoy a walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the old town. Visit Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the 200 year Old Tan Ky House, Japanese Covered Bridge, Hoi An Museum and handicraft workshops. Overnight in Hoi An.

After breakfast visit Tra Que Farm Village. Take a stroll around the vegetable garden and then join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilising it with seaweed from the local lake. Join the cooking class and enjoy what you have cooked. Afterwards, transfer to visit My Son Sanctuary, which owes its spiritual origins to Indian Hinduism. Overnight in Hoi An.

After breakfast, travel over the breathtaking Hai Van Pass on your way to Hue. En route you will have a photo opportunity at the famous Lang Co and Non Nuoc Beach. Once in Hue, visit the Ancient Citadel, Imperial City, Khai Dinh Tomb and Dong Ba Market. Tonight, there is an optional tour that you may want to take in. That is a boat cruise on Perfume River to enjoy the Traditional Hue Music Performance. Overnight in Hue.

Your Vietnam highlights tour continues today by exploring Hanoi's major sights, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Temple of Literature. After lunch, visit the Ethnology Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Hop on a cyclo tour around the 36 Ancient Streets before enjoying the Water Puppet Show in a theatre near Hoan Kiem Lake. Depart for Halong Bay, which is recognised as one of the World's Natural Heritage Sites. The cruise will begin with a visit to the Cave of Surprise while having seafood lunch on board. Take an hour walking tour of the biggest cave in Halong named Amazing. Depending on the weather, you can enjoy a swim at Ti top Beach before heading to Trong Cave, where dinner will be served. You are free to relax onboard in the evening or enjoy some squid fishing.

Have breakfast on board before visiting Luon Cave in a small sampan or on a kayak. You will pass the area where scenes of the famous film “Indochina” were filmed and will see famous islets along the way such as Teapot Islet, Marker Islet, Fire islet and Dove Islet. After lunch arrive at the wharf around noon and then transfer back to Hanoi for an overnight stay.
