Continue your Borneo rainforest tour today by heading to the longhouse village. Set under one roof, this is the house of choice for a great number of Sarawak’s indigenous communities. Day 5: Mulu and Sarawak

Day 5: Mulu and Sarawak

Upon arrival at Mulu Airport, our representative will meet you and you will be transferred to your accommodation. In the afternoon, you’ll do a three-kilometre trek on a plank walk to the Deer Cave and Lang Cave. Late in the evening, witness the exodus of thousands of bats at the observatory before you return.

Day 6: Sarawak Penan People and Caves

Day 6: Sarawak Penan People and Caves

After breakfast, proceed by longboat to Batu Bungan, a Penan Settlement to learn about the culture of the Penan people, a small group of nomads that are holding onto their culture. You'll then continue the boat journey to the Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave where you will explore for the afternoon. Enjoy a picnic lunch and have a swim in the Clearwater spring before returning to Mulu.

Day 7: Travel to Brunei Darussalam

Upon arrival in Miri, you will go on a two-hour overland journey to Brunei Darussalam. After that, take your time to rest and relax in your hotel in Brunei. You can discover the city on your own as it holds a lot of hidden gems that are worth venturing out for, including some of the most beautiful mosques in the Asia Pacific.

Day 8: Ulu Temburong National Park

In the morning, transfer to the jetty to catch a water taxi to Bangar, Temburung. Upon arrival at Bangar, you will be transferred to Bukit Patoi for a trek uphill as an introduction to the jungle. Later, relax and enjoy swimming or go on into the hidden treehouse overhanging by the riverbank. In the evening, enjoy your dinner or opt for a night walk to spot nocturnal wildlife.

Day 9: Ulu Temburong and Brunei City

Day 9: Ulu Temburong and Brunei City

You will depart by the “tamuai” – a local Iban longboat, upstream to reach the Forestry registration office. After that, you will start trekking deep into the jungle. Your walk will be interrupted with the chance to climb the canopy walkway to enjoy a breathtaking view. Transfer back to the terminal house and enjoy lunch. Then, you will be transferred back to Bangar and take a boat back to Bandar Seri Begawan to reach the hotel.

Day 10: Brunei Darussalam Tour

After breakfast, your morning starts with meeting some locals who live in the largest floating villages in the world. You'll then take a tour of the city, highlights of the tour include the Brunei Museum, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, The Royal Regalia Exhibition Hall, Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque and photo stop at the entrance of the biggest residential palace in the world – Istana Nurul Iman.
