The Phillippines is an archipelago of 7,641 islands and islets, a one-stop country that can give you a full package from its rich culture, a variety of wonderful islands, endless diving spots and incredible nature. The Philippines will spoil you, it has so many activities from wildest adventure and fun escapades up to the more relaxing and laid-back vibes.

On this 10-day Philippines trip, you'll experience the hustle and bustle of Manila and its 15th-century colonial city and the mighty Taal Volcano, before spending the rest of your stay relaxing in the idyllic Boracay. On this tiny 7-kilometre long island, you'll find plenty to do from diving and snorkelling to visiting the bat caves and sunning yourself on the beautiful White Beach.

Day 1

Arrival in Manila

When you land in Manila, a private car will pick you up and take you to your hotel in Makati, Manila's central business and tourism district. After checking in, you'll have the rest of the day to explore the city as you wish. A particular highlight is the walled city of Intramuros, whose many buildings date back to the Spanish colonial era in the 16th century when Intramuros was considered the capital of the country.

Day 2

Taal Volcano Day Tour

Taal Volcano Day Tour

On this day, you will be heading to Taal Volcano which is the smallest most dangerous active volcano in the world. It is located on an island inside a lake and in the crater of the volcano lays an amazing green lagoon. Before reaching the crater, you will sail a boat in Taal Lake going to the land of the volcano. From there, you will ride a horse heading to the top wherein a picturesque viewpoint is revealed. After that, you will take a local Filipino lunch and head back to your hotel in Makati.

Pagsanjan Falls

In the morning, you will head south to Pagsanjan River. You will ride a canoe onto the Pagsanjan River reaching the famous falls. The journey upstream is magnificent and picturesque, wherein you will see various landscapes surrounding the river and locals in their livelihood such as fishermen, women doing their laundry and children taking a bath in the river. When you reach the waterfalls, one of the most famous in the Philippines, you can ride a bamboo raft and swim in the tumbling waters.

Today, after breakfast at your hotel, you'll check out and head to Manila airport from where you'll fly to Boracay island. Flying over the Philippines during the day is a pure delight as you are able to see the dazzling blue waters and lush green islands from above. Upon arrival, you'll be taken to your hotel where you can check in and relax before heading out to dinner at one of Boracay's renowned restaurants.

The perfect place to explore, Boracay's waters are home to rich marine life in the corals and shipwrecks just off shore. As well as the beautiful 4-kilometre palm tree-lined beach where you can relax, the island is a hub for watersports activities such as kayaking and diving.

Today, if you choose to, you can head to Boracay's Bat Caves situated at the end of the island, a place where you can gain a small glimpse into the part of the island that is untouched by civilisation. You can reach the bat caves by following the trail through the forest to the mouth of the humid cave. Inside, you'll look up to see the thousands of fruit bats hanging from the roof!
